Performance and Analytics for Private Markets Product Owner, Vice President

This role is a senior Product Owner position within the Performance & Analytics Product Development team, with a focus on Private Markets and Multi-Asset Class Performance. You will lead agile delivery and business analysis work to design and deliver performance and analytics solutions, including roadmap and readiness activities.

Role Overview

As a Performance and Analytics Product Owner at State Street in Quincy, MA (onsite), you will serve as a senior leader for product delivery and analysis efforts. The scope includes ownership of product roadmaps and business analysis, subject matter expertise for Private Markets Performance & Analytics, and coordination with cross-functional internal teams to support planning, integration, testing, and release readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead agile teams and business analysis teams as a senior Product Owner, ensuring prioritized functionality is delivered as expected across the end-to-end process.
• Lead workflow analysis, data analysis, and requirements analysis for current and future state models, and ensure product integration with upstream and downstream applications.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Private Markets Performance & Analytics.
• Develop product roadmaps, business cases, project objectives, operating models, product design, product requirements, process flows, and wireframes.
• Define and maintain project schedules, milestones, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, decisions, architecture, and cross product dependencies.
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, Service Delivery, and other internal stakeholders to support development and rollout of new products and capabilities.
• Support product testing, including user acceptance testing, as well as test case and test data readiness.
• Drive product readiness activities, including release notes, documentation, training, and governance for new capabilities and enhancements.
• Provide communication to senior leadership on product development activities, project status, and product roadmaps.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in Financial Services, Investment Analysis, Asset Management, or related fields.
• Experience in product development, product management, business analysis, investment operations, or software solutions.
• Expertise in Investment Performance & Analytics and/or Private Market Investments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to act as a persuasive change agent.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing responsibilities and shifting priorities.
• Ability to clearly articulate product capabilities and benefits to teammates, senior management, clients, and colleagues in technology and service delivery.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business, Mathematics, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Product development, product management, or software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Performance & Analytics.
• Strong knowledge of the Private Investments space.
• Accounting knowledge (plus).
• Advanced degrees in Finance or related professional certifications (CA/CFA/CIPM/CAIA or equivalent) (plus).

Location & Compensation

• Location: Quincy, MA (onsite)
• Salary: USD 110,000 to 188,750 per year
