Responsibilities

  • Identify market opportunities through analytical assessment and translate needs into product criteria to support development and commercialization using standard product management practices.
  • Develop and drive individual product plans and overarching strategy.
  • Direct ongoing pricing and discounting analyses to optimize financial performance.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to support data management system functionality and usage.
  • Create sales support and training materials, including feature summaries, competitive evaluations, and pricing comparisons.
  • Define analytical tools and synthesize research insights to inform decision making.
  • Field inquiries on competition and offer decisions or recommendations to resolve them.
  • Own quality issue resolution and drive changes that impact the P&L.
  • Oversee the product lifecycle from identification through growth and maturity to decline and discontinuation, including input on simplification when appropriate.
  • Mentor other product teammates to support professional growth across the team.
  • Plan and observe research, including some direct engagement with customers, users, and stakeholders.
  • Support new product exploration data inputs for assigned product lines and serve as a Core Team member representing the category.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is required; degrees in marketing, business administration, or interior design are preferred.
  • Typically 4 to 7 years of experience in product management or related roles, with a solid understanding of product management best practices and processes.
  • Experience in contract furniture or capital goods marketing, or premium consumer merchant experience, is preferred.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
