Job Description

The role, based in Boston, MA with remote flexibility, leads the long-term product strategy at edisyl and steers a new product surface that combines public knowledge packs with private overlays. You will partner with the CTO and founder, engineering, and data science to define a market-informed, compounding roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Steward the enduring product roadmap by converting the vision into a sequenced plan where each build amplifies the next, aligning leadership and the broader team.
  • Maintain ongoing customer and market discovery, sustaining regular engagement with users and signals, and feed insights into roadmap decisions as a standing input.
  • Lead architecture decisions around provenance, the public-private interface, version propagation across knowledge packs, and consumer-facing vocabulary, guiding them from ambiguity to concrete choices.
  • Specify edge-case behaviors and access controls before engineering begins so details are decided upfront rather than discovered mid-build.
  • Define and prioritize what gets built by authoring specs, setting sequencing, and making prioritization calls that keep the team pointed at the compounding plan.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and data science on knowledge-base quality, and with sales and customer success on deal progression, stalls, and drivers of adoption.

Requirements

  • Approximately 7+ years in product with senior end-to-end ownership of a product line or surface.
  • Owned a roadmap and been accountable for outcomes such as adoption, retention, and growth, not just shipping.
  • Launched a product where ease-of-adoption was the core challenge.
  • Has driven real AI/product adoption inside large organizations, beyond a pilot.
  • Worked closely with engineering and data science on a technical product, without needing infrastructure translation.

Technologies

  • Claude Code
  • Forge
  • Lattice
  • Stratum

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary
  • Meaningful early-stage equity

Who This Is For

  • You have owned a product line end-to-end, not just the process around one, and you distinguish between discovery conversations and changing your plan based on them.
  • You are not seeking a defined roadmap to execute; you want to tackle open questions such as provenance, version propagation, and public versus private scope, driving them from fuzzy to decided.
  • You work daily with AI tools and are comfortable with Claude Code or similar, focusing on making dense technical work effortless for non AI-native users.

About edisyl

edisyl builds AI solutions that translate messy institutional data into decisions, workflows, and outcomes. Originating from blockchain data infrastructure, the company brings eight years of experience across 20+ chains and 700M+ resolved wallets to enterprises seeking scalable data utilization without extensive analyst teams. Current deployments include a financial institution and Interlochen, with inbound demand from additional firms seeking what edisyl has built.

The Role

As edisyl scales, dedicated ownership of the long-term roadmap becomes essential. This role is about establishing a compounding product strategy rather than executing a pre-defined plan. You will own the new product surface featuring public knowledge packs with private overlays on top of Forge, Lattice, and Stratum. This position sits between discovery and execution, providing direction and market validation while the CTO/founder maintains broader vision and prototyping.

What Success Looks Like in Year One

Strong product retention and net revenue retention demonstrate real value beyond initial deployment. Time from sign-on to active usage should improve, signaling scalable adoption. A growing roster of recognized logos publicly running the product acts as evidence of sustained impact, beyond feature shipments alone.

Compensation

edisyl offers a competitive base salary and meaningful early-stage equity, with full transparency about the total package in the first discussion.

Who We're Looking For

  • Approximately 7+ years in product with senior end-to-end ownership of a product line or surface.
  • Owned a roadmap and been accountable for outcomes (adoption, retention, growth), not just shipping.
  • Launched a product where ease-of-adoption was the core challenge.
  • Has driven real AI/product adoption inside large organizations, beyond pilots.
  • Worked closely with engineering and data science on a technical product, without needing infrastructure translation.
  • Roadmap and sequencing judgment to turn vision and market signals into a plan where each build enables the next.
  • Product taste favoring consumer-simple experiences over heavy underlying infrastructure.
  • Real discovery instincts, adjusting course based on new information.
  • Backbone delivered as consensus, pushing back when market or product evidence warrants, and guiding stakeholders to shared decisions.
  • Product thinking over process, focused on fast value delivery and enabling the team to generate its own tickets.
  • Experience shipping consumer, prosumer, or enterprise-grade products to large buyers.
  • Founders or early-stage operators experience and a track record of 0-to-1 product work.

The Stuff That Is Harder to Teach

  • Roadmap and sequencing judgment that links vision to a sustainable, compounding plan.
  • Product taste oriented toward effortless user experiences over complex infrastructure.
  • Real discovery instincts that alter direction in light of new evidence.
  • Backbone delivered as consensus rather than decree, aligning teams around market-informed decisions.
  • Product thinking over process, enabling rapid customer value through strategic direction.

Bonus (Genuinely Not Required)

  • Consumer or prosumer product experience emphasizing ease-of-adoption.
  • Experience shipping to large-enterprise or Fortune 500 buyers.
  • Founder or early-stage operator experience.
  • A 0-to-1 product built, not only scaled.

Why This, Why Now

edisyl has validated the technology and sees a ready enterprise market for a genuinely new product surface. Building a coherent, compounding roadmap and sustaining market discovery requires dedicated ownership now. This role provides that focus, enabling growth through a deliberate plan rather than isolated releases.
