Product Manager II
Job Description
Flexco is hiring a Product Manager II in Grand Rapids, MI (onsite) to lead Light Duty product offerings and drive strategy through the full product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Align product strategy with corporate and business unit strategies, with initiatives clearly identified and prioritized to support short- and long-term top and bottom-line growth objectives
- Own product line P&L understanding for assigned product lines, identify opportunities, and drive execution to meet and exceed profitability targets
- Prioritize and communicate the product development roadmap to internal stakeholders using the 3 prioritization drivers: business viability, technical feasibility, and customer desirability
- Coordinate product launch activities to achieve targeted customer adoption defined in the marketing specification
- Maintain a competitive database covering market size, competitive share, and competitive SWOT; use insights to optimize portfolio strategy, including pricing strategies
- Ensure the product line has appropriate technical, service, and commercial (sales/marketing) support
- Develop technical support materials
- Provide technical troubleshooting support to sales and customers
- Partner with sales and operations planning to align manufacturing activity with market expectations for quality, delivery, cost, capabilities, and capacity
- Identify marketing collateral needs and coordinate development (literature, website updates, social media, and related assets) with the Marketing Communications team and external vendors
- Support Strategic Account Sales Managers and sales teams for pursuit and ongoing support of new and existing business
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or mechanical engineering with strong business acumen
- 7+ years of relevant experience in product management-related positions
- Preferred: MBA and/or Certified Product Manager
- Willingness to travel domestically and globally approximately 30% to 40% of the time

- Work cross-functionally with marketing and engineering teams
Compensation
- Starting annual compensation: $110,000 - $135,000, or more depending on skills, education, and experience
