Product Manager II - Security Graph Experience
Job Description
Datadog seeks a Product Manager II for the Security Graph Experience in New York, NY (hybrid). This role leads the roadmap and design of the query, exploration, and visualization layers that enable security teams to investigate risk across cloud, code, SIEM, and workload. The position offers a salary range of USD 192,000 to 240,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the roadmap for the query, exploration, and visualization layer used by security teams to investigate risk across cloud, code, SIEM, and workload.
- Design the query and filter model that lets analysts pose arbitrary graph questions without needing to understand the underlying data model.
- Own cross-product entry points into the graph so that alerts, findings, and vulnerabilities across Cloud Security, SIEM, and Application Security link to a unified graph context naturally.
- Collaborate with executives, marketing, sales, design, and support to bring new graph powered experiences to market.
- Develop a deep understanding of the security analyst workflow and identify where graph context improves the speed and quality of investigation decisions.
- Monitor and report to product leadership on metrics around graph feature adoption, investigation depth, and time-to-context.
- Collaborate with the Security Graph Foundations PM to shape the data model and platform capabilities based on visualization needs for correct and performant rendering.
- Engage directly with customers to test graph UI concepts, validate investigation workflows, and identify where complexity becomes a blocker.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years in enterprise software, with direct experience in security products such as cloud security, SIEM, vulnerability management, or workload protection.
- Committed to product craft, balancing usability with technical accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, capable of presenting product decisions to engineers, designers, and executives with clarity.
- Comfortable navigating complex backend data models and translating them into UI surfaces that reveal essential information without overloading users.
- Familiarity with graph data concepts (nodes, edges, traversal, path queries) sufficient to collaborate with engineers building backend graphing systems.
- Understanding of security investigation workflows to know what context and sequence analysts require.
- Strong design sensibility, with experience working closely with designers and opinions on when visualizations help versus overwhelm.
- Regular use of LLM-based tools such as Claude Code and Cursor to accelerate work, from drafting PRDs and analyzing data to prototyping interactions.
- Driven to build products in a high growth environment where the surface owned differentiates the offering.
- Demonstrates ownership, a shipping mindset, and clear prioritization when the design space is wide open.
