Product Manager, Qnect IQ / Quanta (Semantic AI Layer)

Remote Remote $100k - $177k/yr Full time Posted 1h ago

Job Description

Quorum Business Solutions is building Qnect IQ / Quanta, a contextual and semantic AI layer within the Quorum ecosystem. This Product Lead/Product Manager role shapes the product direction and helps bring the offering to market, working with engineering and commercial teams to turn customer needs into AI capabilities that deliver measurable outcomes.

Location: Remote (remote) or Houston, Texas (preferred) with a hybrid model. If you are in the United States as remote, travel may be required.

What you’ll own

  • Product direction and roadmap, balancing customer value, commercial opportunity, engineering capacity, and ecosystem dependencies.
  • Customer discovery and validation through direct work with customers, users, and internal product teams to understand workflows, validate problems, and pinpoint where connected information and AI can improve day-to-day work.
  • Focused pilots and early releases, including defining success criteria, then using feedback and observed usage to decide what to expand, change, or stop.
  • Product requirements and delivery by defining requirements, user journeys, and acceptance criteria, and partnering with engineering to prioritize and deliver features that meet customer needs.
  • Core AI layer capabilities across ingestion, document extraction, contextual relationships, search, cited answers, and knowledge access for applications and agents.
  • Prototypes, demos, and onboarding coordination, reviewing delivered features and coordinating customer onboarding and feedback with engineering, QA, and Customer Success.
  • Positioning and go-to-market execution with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, covering target use cases, value propositions, demonstrations, and launch materials.
  • Packaging and AI economics alongside commercial and platform teams, including pricing and AI-credit usage while balancing customer value with delivery cost.
  • Outcome measurement by defining and tracking activation, successful task completion, repeat usage, customer value, consumption, and willingness to pay, then using evidence to guide priorities.
  • Launch readiness coordination across platform, data, security, and operations, including access permissions and customer-data handling.
  • Clear stakeholder communication on priorities, progress, decisions, and risks to both customers and internal teams.

What you bring

  • Experience owning a B2B software product (or a significant product area) from discovery through delivery, launch, and customer adoption.
  • Experience in a startup or small product team environment with direct responsibility for both product definition and go-to-market.
  • Strong customer discovery, with the ability to translate interviews, workflow observations, and usage evidence into product decisions.
  • Ability to work closely with engineers on APIs, integrations, data flows, and technical tradeoffs, while turning those details into customer-facing outcomes.
  • Practical understanding of AI-enabled products, including how data quality, context, retrieval, model limitations, permissions, and cost affect user experience.
  • Experience defining requirements and acceptance criteria, prioritizing a backlog, and validating delivered functionality with users.
  • Experience with product positioning, demos, and launches, and working with commercial teams to validate demand.
  • Ability to select meaningful metrics, interpret results, and adjust direction when evidence challenges assumptions.
  • Hands-on use of AI tools for product research, analysis, prototyping, or delivery, with judgment about validating outputs.
  • Clear communication in writing and verbally, independent judgment, and comfort operating through ambiguity across a distributed team.

Nice to have

  • Experience with enterprise search, document intelligence, knowledge management, semantic data, or AI agents.
  • Experience with event-driven products, data platforms, APIs, or shared capabilities used by multiple applications.
  • Experience with consumption-based pricing, AI credits, or AI-enabled service economics.
  • Experience building functional prototypes using AI coding tools or working directly with APIs and data.
  • Familiarity with energy-sector workflows or enterprise software for the energy industry.

Compensation and pay

Salary: USD 100,000 - 176,900 per yearly. Pay: bi-weekly via direct deposit.

Background check and eligibility

  • Background Check: Criminal History Check, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Driver’s License Verification, and passport/ID validation.
  • Visa Sponsorship: not available. Employment eligibility to work in the United States is required, and the candidate must maintain and renew visas or permits that grant employment eligibility as applicable.
