Product Operations Lead

Job Description

The Product Operations Lead is part of the store leadership team at lululemon, focused on executing the store product strategy through strong product operations and inventory management. This role leads inventory shifts, supports back-of-house execution, and helps create a well-stocked, organized store experience for guests, including serving as Supervisor on Duty during scheduled open hours.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with store leadership to turn the product strategy into day-to-day store execution.
  • Plan, prioritize, manage, and lead inventory processing and accuracy activities in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure completion of product actions including pull backs, consolidations, and repricing.
  • Set a fun and productive tone for the shift to engage team members in inventory management.
  • Monitor product levels and communicate findings to support sell-through strategy and optimal product availability for guests.
  • Review and interpret daily business data and metrics to guide recommendations to store leadership, such as analyzing product sell-through and, for outlets, informing pricing focus.
  • Participate in the store hiring process, including recruitment, selection, hiring recommendations, onboarding, and training.
  • Support team member performance by providing direct feedback, recognition, coaching, demonstrations, and hands-on learning opportunities.
  • Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment through supportive working relationships.
  • When scheduled as Supervisor on Duty during store open hours, move dynamically across the floor and lead from the floor to deliver technical product education and a world-class guest experience.

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located.
  • Ability to travel to the assigned store using reliable transportation methods.
  • Work schedule varies based on store needs; shifts are typically scheduled mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • During peak timeframes, special events, or other circumstances, the schedule may include early mornings or late nights or overnights for some team members.

Work Context

  • Move through the store in both front-of-house areas with bright lights and loud music and back-of-house areas with no windows or natural light.
  • Work is completed as part of a team, sometimes independently, and may involve using a computer or other technical devices.
  • Occasionally move boxes weighing up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg) and use ladders to reach materials.
  • For experiential stores with food or beverage service only: may use industrial kitchen equipment and be exposed to heat when preparing food or beverages.

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of work experience.
  • Some experience with inventory management, product or visual merchandising, stocking, or planning and logistics, including using business technology to complete work.
  • Some experience leading, mentoring, delegating, or implementing processes with others.

Job Assets (Nice to Have)

  • High school diploma/GED/equivalent or above.
  • Retail, sales, distribution center, or warehouse operations experience; reviewing and interpreting business reports and metrics to inform action.
  • For experiential stores with food or beverage service only: food safety and/or liquor service certification.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.25 per hour (subject to minimum wage in the location).

  • Target Bonus: $2.00/hour
  • Total Target Base Pay Range: $24.00 - $27.25/hour
