Product Operations Manager I, Customer Operations
Job Description
Axon Air is seeking a Product Operations Manager I, Customer Operations to run deal flow from quote through purchase order to delivery and collaborate closely with Revenue Operations partners.
Responsibilities
- Release purchase orders and manage order administration end-to-end, from quote to fulfillment
- Act as the deal-processing subject matter expert for Axon Air, partnering with Quoting and Commercial Operations to structure deals correctly the first time
- Improve quoting, ordering, and booking workflows in collaboration with external Revenue Operations teams
- Support sales strategy formulation to refine go-to-market motion by market segment and region
- Review quotes and purchase orders to catch inaccuracies early and prevent delays
- Build automations and tools that simplify sales operations and reduce manual effort
- Maintain sales enablement materials so teams can navigate deal complexity
- Learn each sales team’s workflow before proposing changes, building relationships before fixes
- Identify process gaps and flag them to Product Operations leadership and external partners, helping design resolutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
- 3+ years in sales operations, order administration, product operations, or a similar function
- High attention to detail, with a track record of preventing issues before they escalate
- Curiosity for building and automating manual processes
- Comfort working with ambiguity and complex deal structures
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM/CPQ tools
- Ground-up mindset focused on learning the workflow before redesigning it
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence both external partners and internal teams

Work Location
- Onsite at the office in Sterling, Virginia
- Hybrid schedule with in-person collaboration
- Onsite required Tuesdays through Fridays
