Product Owner

Purpose Financial is hiring an onsite Product Owner in Greenville, SC to lead the vision, delivery, and measurable outcomes of platform and digital products across the enterprise. This role connects business priorities with technical execution by shaping the product backlog, enabling Agile delivery, and monitoring progress against strategic goals.

What you will do

• Set and communicate a clear product vision aligned with business objectives.
• Own the end-to-end management, grooming, and prioritization of the product backlog in line with business goals.
• Partner with customers, business leaders, and stakeholders to gather requirements and ongoing feedback.
• Create detailed, clear user stories and epics, including technical requirements and constraints.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Review and accept completed work to ensure quality standards and business requirements are met.
• Track product performance and progress toward strategic goals using KPIs and user feedback.
• Identify and help resolve conflicts or obstacles that could slow or block product development.

What you bring

• A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Business, Engineering, STEM, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in product management or a closely related role.
• Experience leading end-to-end product feature development or full product launches.
• Hands-on product lifecycle management experience using tools such as Jira or Rally.
• Familiarity with A/B testing and user testing practices to validate product decisions.
• Technical background and understanding of system architecture, APIs, cloud technologies, databases, and software development practices.
• Ability to use data-driven insights to guide decisions, monitor performance, and inform roadmap planning.
• Spanish communication skills are a plus.
• Certifications such as CSPO, SAFe PO, and PMP are a plus.
• Must be eligible to work in the USA and able to pass a background check.
