Job Description
Fox Corporation is building AI-driven capabilities that help newsrooms move faster while keeping editorial quality high. In this role, you will help integrate AI into the CMS and Video CMS to improve efficiency across newsroom workflows. You will partner with editorial, engineering, design, and data teams, and you will set the standard for how product documentation and adoption guidance support consistent, trusted usage of these systems.
Location: New York, NY (hybrid). Compensation: $102,000 to $137,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
What you’ll do
- Define and evolve the product roadmap for CMS and Video CMS platforms, focusing on AI-enabled editorial workflows, content intelligence, and automation.
- Find high-impact opportunities where AI improves content creation, enrichment, publishing, discovery, and quality assurance across newsroom operations.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Data to design, test, and ship AI-powered features including content suggestions, metadata enrichment, summarization, tagging, validation, and workflow automation.
- Prioritize and manage a backlog of AI and non-AI work, including experiments and technical improvements, delivered with an Agile team.
- Work with reporters, editors, and producers to observe workflows, evaluate adoption of AI features, and surface friction points.
- Turn editorial needs into product requirements for AI systems, covering model inputs, outputs, guardrails, confidence indicators, and human-in-the-loop review.
- Own and scale product documentation, including product specs, workflows, system behaviors, and user-facing guidance for consistency and accessibility across teams.
- Set documentation standards and best practices so features and systems are clearly documented for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Partner with training, editorial, and change management to maintain documentation that supports onboarding, adoption, and ongoing product education.
- Align AI initiatives with business goals, editorial standards, and platform strategy in partnership with Senior Product Managers.
- Drive internal alignment and trust around AI capabilities, including transparency, editorial control, and responsible use.
- Coordinate with Product Managers across FOX business units to share AI patterns, platform capabilities, and reusable services.
- Write detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for Engineering and Infrastructure teams supporting AI features.
- Contribute to training materials and change-management efforts to support newsroom adoption of AI tools.
What you bring
- Experience in digital technology within a Product, Strategy, or Editorial Systems role.
- Strong product judgment balancing editorial needs, technical complexity, and long-term platform health.
- Proven success delivering products through cross-functional collaboration.
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving editorial environment with frequent deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Technical fluency working closely with engineers, data scientists, and platform teams.
- Ability to write clear user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
- Strong experience creating and maintaining product documentation, including technical specifications, process flows, and user guidance.
- Capacity to translate complex systems into structured, accessible documentation for diverse audiences.
- Empathy for newsroom users and a drive to solve real editorial problems.
- Stakeholder management experience across editorial, business, marketing, and engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or OpenAI platforms to improve workflows, user experience, or operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with AI concepts including prompts, evaluation, confidence signals, human review loops, and responsible deployment in content systems.

Pay and benefits disclosure
- Pay rate/range for this role is $102,000.00-137,000.00 annually.
- Final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location.
- Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
