Clarivate is hiring a Senior Product Owner to lead the Record to Report (R2R) product within the ITS Product organization. In this hybrid role based in Philadelphia, you will partner with Finance and Engineering to deliver capabilities across Oracle ERP, NetSuite, and OneStream, while shaping discovery, backlog execution, and business acceptance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Agile execution of the Record to Report product backlog across Oracle ERP, NetSuite, and OneStream, delivering capabilities aligned with Finance strategy.
- Work with the Scrum Master and own Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.
- Apply and improve Agile best practices to strengthen backlog quality, team delivery, predictability, and ways of working.
- Partner with the Product Manager to shape and prioritize the product roadmap and support efficient delivery.
- Own product discovery by engaging Finance, Controllership, and business users to identify pain points and convert insights into product decisions.
- Define what the team builds, manage the product backlog, and represent business-user needs.
- Translate strategy and business requirements into actionable features, epics, and user stories.
- Prioritize backlog items by evaluating stakeholder feedback, controls, risk, and business value.
- Manage delivery timelines, dependencies, and roadmap alignment.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects to assess technical feasibility, integrations, and long-term platform direction.
- Partner with Solution Analysts and Engineering teams to refine user stories and define acceptance criteria.
- Gather requirements across Accounting, Controllership, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Audit, and other Finance stakeholders.
- Support capabilities for General Ledger, close, intercompany, fixed assets, reconciliations, consolidation, and financial reporting.
- Partner with Tax stakeholders on requirements related to tax determination, VAT/GST, sales and use tax, withholding tax, statutory reporting, and tax technology integrations.
- Ensure integrations and data flows between ERP, OneStream, Tax platforms, and other Finance systems meet business needs.
- Support ERP upgrades, vendor releases, regulatory changes, acquisitions, divestitures, and legal-entity changes.
- Own accountability for business acceptance of delivered solutions.
- Define and track R2R KPIs including close cycle time, reconciliation automation, accounting exceptions, process automation, and product adoption.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree or equivalent relevant experience
- 7+ years of relevant experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, ERP functional consulting, Finance Technology, or similar roles
- 5 years working with Finance/ERP applications and processes
- 5 years working specifically with Record to Report (R2R) processes
- 2+ years working in an Agile/Scrum delivery model
- 4+ years working directly with Finance stakeholders and Engineering/Technology teams

- Experience with ERP implementations, upgrades, transformations, or migrations
- Experience supporting acquisitions, divestitures, legal-entity changes, or major organizational transformations
- Tax process knowledge covering VAT/GST, sales and use tax, withholding tax, or statutory reporting
- Experience with ONESOURCE, Vertex, Avalara, Oracle E-Business Tax, or NetSuite Tax/SuiteTax
- Experience with Treasury, FP&A, or other adjacent Finance processes
- Experience defining or tracking Finance/product KPIs and driving process automation or continuous improvement
About the Team
You will join the ITS Record to Report product team, supporting Accounting, Controllership, Financial Close, Consolidation, and Reporting operations while partnering closely with Global Tax. The team operates across Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP, NetSuite, OneStream, and connected Tax platforms, collaborating with Finance, Engineering, Architecture, and Program Management. The environment is collaborative, with complex global processes and strong executive visibility tied to influence over global Finance systems strategy.
Hours of Work and Location
- Location: Philadelphia, PA (hybrid)
- Position type: Full-time, permanent
- Onsite expectation: 2β3 days per week onsite
- Working hours: primarily core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to collaborate across global teams
