Senior Product Manager

New York, NY Remote $128k - $229k/yr Full time Posted 4d ago

Job Description

Autodesk is building AEC visualization solutions for how teams design, coordinate, and communicate across the Autodesk ecosystem. This role sits on the web team for AEC Visualization Solutions, where you will help shape the shared visualization platform experience through product strategy, roadmap ownership, and cross-functional execution. You will work across product, engineering, and design to drive adoption of capabilities used by multiple Autodesk products and workflows.

What you’ll do

  • Own and evolve the visualization product roadmap across key areas, balancing long-term platform investment with near-term product and customer needs
  • Spot and prioritize high-impact opportunities by combining customer insight, product data, market context, technical possibilities, and Autodesk strategy
  • Lead complex initiatives end-to-end, from opportunity discovery and product definition through delivery, adoption, measurement, and iteration
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and design leaders to define solutions for technically complex visualization challenges, including tradeoffs across user experience, performance, scalability, and time to market
  • Drive alignment across Autodesk product teams, influencing priorities and enabling adoption of shared visualization capabilities across multiple products and workflows
  • Turn complex or ambiguous customer needs into clear product strategy, requirements, and decisions that teams can execute
  • Engage directly with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to understand workflows, validate direction, and uncover emerging opportunities
  • Define and apply success metrics, using qualitative and quantitative signals to evaluate outcomes and continuously improve the product
  • Navigate dependencies and competing priorities across teams, proactively identifying risks and clarifying ownership or direction where it is ambiguous

What you bring

  • 7+ years of product management experience, ideally in visualization, graphics, Contech, platform products, or other technically complex domains
  • Experience owning meaningful product areas and shaping strategy and roadmaps in ambiguous, technically complex environments
  • Strong product judgment, connecting customer problems, technical opportunities, and business priorities into clear product direction
  • A track record of leading complex cross-functional work and delivering measurable customer and business outcomes
  • Experience partnering with engineering and design on complex systems, platforms, APIs, or shared technology capabilities
  • Ability to operate at both the platform and product level, balancing reusable capabilities with specific customer experiences
  • Strong influence and stakeholder management skills, aligning teams across organizational boundaries without relying on direct authority
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including simplifying complex topics, articulating tradeoffs, and building alignment around difficult decisions
  • Analytical strength, including defining and using success metrics for product decisions
  • A collaborative, low-ego mindset and comfort working across distributed, global, and highly cross-functional teams

Technologies you may work with

  • 3D visualization
  • CAD/BIM
  • Real-time graphics
  • Rendering
  • Game engines
  • Platforms and APIs

Benefits and compensation

  • Health and financial benefits
  • Time away and everyday wellness
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Annual cash bonuses (where applicable)
  • Stock grants
  • Commissions for sales roles (if applicable)
  • Salary transparency: starting base salary between $128,000 and $228,690 for U.S.-based roles

Location and scheduling

New York, NY (remote). East Coast US or Canada, remote with occasional travel.

This role may require in-person onboarding and/or in-person ID verification.

Nice to have

  • Experience with 3D visualization, CAD/BIM, real-time graphics, rendering, game engines, or related technologies
  • Experience building platform capabilities consumed by multiple products or development teams
  • Background in AEC, construction technology, or Design & Make industries
  • Experience working with large-scale or high-performance graphical applications and complex 3D data
