Job Description

AuraOne Human Data is seeking a remote contract UX Research Quality Evaluator to help ensure that prompts and model outputs meet a consistent quality standard. The role centers on reviewing materials against AuraOne's quality rubric, comparing paired responses, labeling edge cases, and delivering structured feedback to support retraining. Calibration, documenting failure modes, and routing ambiguous prompts to the program team are key components of maintaining a precise, scalable evaluation process.

Responsibilities

  • Review UX research quality evaluation model outputs against a versioned rubric and apply severity tags for UX Research Quality Evaluator tasks.
  • Compare paired responses and select the stronger answer, accompanied by a written rationale.
  • Label hallucinations, instruction-following failures, and unsafe content using structured tags.
  • Capture ambiguous prompts and route them back to the program team for rubric updates.
  • Maintain reviewer-quality scores by calibrating against gold-standard examples on a weekly basis.
  • Document recurring failure modes to guide the modeling team in the next training run.

Requirements

  • Past experience as an evaluator, annotator, or human rater in UX research quality evaluation or related content for UX Research Quality Evaluator work.
  • Comfort applying multi-page rubrics consistently across long batches.
  • Clear written reasoning that identifies the issue and the applicable rubric clause.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to flag when the prompt itself is problematic.
  • Reliable asynchronous availability for at least 10 hours per week.

  • Suggest a rubric clarification after spotting a recurring failure mode.
