Xactware Product Manager I

You will serve as a Xactware Product Manager I within Ignite Insurance Systems in Lehi, UT (onsite), leading an empowered product team for property insurance estimating solutions. The role emphasizes end-to-end problem ownership, translating discovery into measurable delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery activities with a product trio to understand the problem space deeply.
• Validate product ideas with real users using interviews, shadowing, and testing.
• Convert validated opportunities into user stories, requirements, and clear success criteria.
• Maintain a transparent backlog that reflects current priorities and expected outcomes.
• Drive continuous delivery of valuable product iterations that can be measured and improved through learning.
• Partner with engineering and QA to deliver high-quality, usable, and performant solutions.
• Establish, communicate, and manage the product release cadence.
• Define and track success metrics tied to the features and problems the team owns.
• Use analytics tools, support tickets, and qualitative feedback to guide product decisions.
• Validate impact using data and adjust direction as needed.
• Conduct research using industry trends, market data, and customer feedback to inform product improvements.
• Track and report product progress, including outcomes for each initiative.
• Make product decisions within established frameworks and with guidance from senior product leaders.
• Keep stakeholders informed and engaged while protecting team autonomy.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with claims operations, marketing, sales, and customer success teams.
• Contribute to quarterly planning by connecting team-level work to company OKRs.
• Represent the product in customer calls, internal and external meetings, and other key events.
• Support product leadership in developing, communicating, and executing strategy for property estimating solutions.
• Complete assigned performance objectives, special projects, and other duties as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, design, insurance, or a related field (or equivalent work-related experience and training).
• 1–3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, UX, or technical roles.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI to improve results.
• Demonstrated product discovery capability to define problems, understand users, and deliver business outcomes.
• Knowledge of agile and product operating model principles.
• Strong communication skills for storytelling, alignment, and documentation.
• A growth mindset with high curiosity and humility.
• Intermediate understanding of property claims, restoration, and contracting industries is preferred.
• Understanding of Xactware’s core products and insurance estimating concepts is preferred.
• Experience with product analytics tools.
• Ability to work on multiple projects in different stages at the same time.
• Strong time and priority management skills.
• Experience with Agile work management and issue tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer research or industry events.
