Clayton, Missouri onsite Product Manager opportunity with Winchester Ammunition. This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 123,000 to 150,000 per year and the chance to guide material demand, collaborate with Marketing and Engineering/Manufacturing on cost-saving initiatives and launches, and drive the product lifecycle for Centerfire and Rimfire lines from ideation to delivery.

A Bachelor's degree is required, with a minimum of five years of related experience. You will partner across teams to shape product strategy and bring new products to market.

Responsibilities

Create an annual business plan for assigned product categories.
Obtain market demand intel and maintain an in-depth understanding of the competitive landscape.
Set volume targets and profitability goals for all assigned product lines.
Create and supply product line technical specifications and delivery estimates to help the sales team execute the business segment sales plan.
Ensure business segment forecasts are accurate and attainable through inventory and planned production.
Track the business segment's monthly sales performance.
Work with Production Planning to ensure capacity is utilized to meet sales estimates and goals by monitoring sales, inventory, and production performance to provide daily run rate guidance.
Drive the creation, introduction, and delivery of new products (ideation, naming, packaging design, engineering support, launch plans, pricing, setup, and planning).
Job tasks can include oversight for the Centerfire and Rimfire product management.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Business, Engineering, Engineering Management, Marketing, or related technical discipline.
Minimum five years of Product Development, Sales, or related experience.
Knowledge of firearms and ammunition.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with creative design software and SAP preferred.
Must be highly engaged in pricing direction and decision-making at the product and product line level.
Detailed understanding of inventory and manufacturing schedules and how those numbers impact sales projections.
Demonstrated strong leadership, analytical abilities, keen attention to detail, creative thinking, organizational, written and verbal communication, interpersonal, research, prioritization, deadline adherence, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
Highly motivated self-starter who can thrive in a team-oriented environment.
Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel approximately 10%.
This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.

Job Description

MEAN WELL USA is seeking a Product Manager to define and drive the strategy for the power supply product line, overseeing lifecycle management, go-to-market planning, and cross-functional collaboration. Mandarin proficiency is required. The role is based onsite in Fremont, California.

Responsibilities

Develop and prioritize the product strategy for the power supply line by analyzing market needs, trends, and competitive dynamics; shape a clear roadmap aligned with business objectives; lead internal and external trainings to promote new products and technologies.
Oversee the local market product development lifecycle from concept through launch and end-of-life; coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing to ensure successful development and execution; craft go-to-market plans for new releases and updates.
Represent the voice of the customer within the organization; build strong relationships with key customers and partners to gather requirements and feedback; conduct surveys, market demand studies, and feasibility analyses to validate ideas.
Define and monitor performance KPIs; analyze product performance, user feedback, and market trends to identify optimization opportunities and drive data-driven decisions that improve outcomes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science) or another technical field
Minimum 2 years of product management or related experience in the power supply sector
Solid understanding of power supply technologies, including AC-DC and DC-DC converters, inverters, and AC-AC variable frequency drives
Proven success in developing and launching products that meet customer needs and business goals
Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently
Analytical approach with experience in market research, competitive analysis, and SMART decision making
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders
Creative thinker focused on innovation and continuous improvement
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Mandarin language proficiency is required

Experience

Minimum 2 years in product management or a related role within the power supply field; 3 years of product management experience is preferred

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science) or an equivalent technical discipline
