NPI Product Manager-Power Supply /Hardware ( Mandarin Required)

MEAN WELL USA is seeking a Product Manager to define and drive the strategy for the power supply product line, overseeing lifecycle management, go-to-market planning, and cross-functional collaboration. Mandarin proficiency is required. The role is based onsite in Fremont, California.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prioritize the product strategy for the power supply line by analyzing market needs, trends, and competitive dynamics; shape a clear roadmap aligned with business objectives; lead internal and external trainings to promote new products and technologies.
• Oversee the local market product development lifecycle from concept through launch and end-of-life; coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing to ensure successful development and execution; craft go-to-market plans for new releases and updates.
• Represent the voice of the customer within the organization; build strong relationships with key customers and partners to gather requirements and feedback; conduct surveys, market demand studies, and feasibility analyses to validate ideas.
• Define and monitor performance KPIs; analyze product performance, user feedback, and market trends to identify optimization opportunities and drive data-driven decisions that improve outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science) or another technical field
• Minimum 2 years of product management or related experience in the power supply sector
• Solid understanding of power supply technologies, including AC-DC and DC-DC converters, inverters, and AC-AC variable frequency drives
• Proven success in developing and launching products that meet customer needs and business goals
• Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently
• Analytical approach with experience in market research, competitive analysis, and SMART decision making
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders
• Creative thinker focused on innovation and continuous improvement
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Mandarin language proficiency is required

Experience

Minimum 2 years in product management or a related role within the power supply field; 3 years of product management experience is preferred

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science) or an equivalent technical discipline

Language

Mandarin is required
