Job Description

City National Bank is seeking a Fraud Product Owner to lead the Fraud Product Management function and own products and programs that support enterprise fraud strategies. This onsite role covers the full product lifecycle from concept to marketplace, requiring close collaboration with fraud strategists, operations teams, and data scientists to translate business needs into scalable solutions. The position is based onsite in Newark, Delaware with a salary range of USD 92,114 to 156,880 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with fraud strategists, operations professionals and data scientists to define business requirements, procedures and processes, including project planning and resource management.
  • Work with product, legal, risk, operations, design and technology teams to shape and prioritize solutions that align with the fraud product vision and roadmap.
  • Manage cross-team dependencies to ensure end-to-end delivery of product releases.
  • Lead product lifecycle activities from discovery and ideation through strategic development, requirements definition and value management.
  • Align fraud product initiatives with broader business goals and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Facilitate technical and functional sessions to drive solution design.
  • Maintain a strong control environment by ensuring programs and projects comply with risk, control and firm-wide guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with global business leaders through strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Foster collaboration and provide clear guidance and feedback to colleagues and partners.
  • Execute product mapping activities, conduct order checks, analyze products, compare options, and support onboarding materials such as the Welcome to CNB package and IRG support.
  • Represent the Bank externally in civic and industry activities as appropriate and maintain relationships to ensure integrated processes that support customer service levels.
  • Act as a business partner by managing expectations and advising on assigned products, while staying current with applicable banking laws and internal policies.

Requirements

  • At least five years of product management experience.
  • At least three years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • At least three years of experience leading medium to large projects.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, analytical, planning and scheduling abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of the financial services industry and business context.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with solid presentation abilities.
  • Proven ability to build positive working relationships with multiple unit managers.
  • Experience managing multiple projects concurrently and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for all levels of bank management.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint; familiarity with Access and other advanced tools is a plus.
