Job Description

Ferguson Enterprises is seeking a Product leader to join the Boundary Applications and Analytics team in Richmond, VA (hybrid). In this role, you will guide strategy, vision, and roadmap planning for Ferguson’s Decision Support Center space, with a focus on enterprise and operational reporting. You will partner with Finance and business stakeholders to help deliver decision support built for speed, quality, and a “one source of truth” approach.

What you’ll do

Define product vision and strategy for the Decision Support Center decision support experience.
Determine customer needs by defining the research required to gather market information.
Conduct comprehensive competitive analyses and market validation across multiple customers and products to uncover customer and market adjacencies and new opportunities.
Own and communicate a detailed roadmap, using qualitative and quantitative research to support business value and roadmap prioritization.
Identify and prioritize opportunities that improve operational efficiency and increase business impact.
Collaborate with business, Finance, and Reporting teams to define, document, and prioritize requirements so business needs are met and exceeded.
Communicate changes clearly to business leaders, including impacts and alignment to company goals.
Work with Project Management to help ensure the product is delivered on time and scoped appropriately.
Coordinate alignment across delivery teams, customer groups, and leadership throughout the software development lifecycle.
Monitor and manage product health using analytics and customer feedback sessions, providing ongoing commentary to leadership.
Maintain a work environment that supports customer service, collaboration, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, employee satisfaction, and quality hiring, training, and succession planning that aligns with Ferguson’s diversity commitment.
Perform other job-related duties as requested.

What you bring

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5–7 years of Product Management/Product Owner experience delivering enterprise solutions.
Experience with data and analytics platforms, including Power BI, Azure, and reporting tools.
Strong product lifecycle ownership experience across strategy, roadmap, and backlog.
Proven experience partnering with Finance and business stakeholders on reporting and data-driven solutions.
Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery models.
