Work location

Remote work option available with a base in Utah.

Onboarding

New hires participate in a company orientation with their manager and other new employees. You will travel to a designated on-site location for onboarding during your first days, with travel arrangements and expenses covered by the company in accordance with policy.

Compensation and eligibility

The expected compensation range for this position is USD 143,200 to 196,900 per year, including base pay plus eligible variable incentive pay. This range is a good faith estimate and may vary based on knowledge, training, skills, location, and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members, product owners and other stakeholders to build world class medical coding software.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop and translate business requirements for assessing medical chart readiness.
  • Lead a team of data scientists and software developers to enhance the chart confidence pipeline and improve client automation.
  • Evaluate team member recommendations, provide detailed feedback, and track improvements.
  • Report progress and accomplishments of the team to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher and seven years of product management experience in a software development environment; OR a high school diploma/GED and fourteen years of product management experience in a software development environment.
  • Three years of experience with cloud-hosted applications.
  • Three years in a technical role such as software development, QA or data science.
  • Three years of experience working with machine learning or other AI software products.

Additional qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience with medical coding systems such as ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, etc.
