AMBULATORY PRODUCT OPERATIONS COORD
Job Description
Join Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, onsite, as an Ambulatory Operations Coordinator. You will provide advanced coordination and administrative support across ambulatory operations, focusing on vendor performance, records accuracy, and process improvement. As the primary contact for escalated vendor issues, you will monitor KPIs, support patient records, pathology, and imaging needs, and contribute to related project initiatives. This role places you at the heart of patient access and operational efficiency, with collaboration across IT, Clinical Operations, and Access Management to drive meaningful results.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for vendor communications and escalation of issues.
- Track vendor KPIs, ensure service level compliance, and assist with quality audits.
- Coordinate escalated requests to achieve timely resolutions in line with department standards.
- Identify workflow gaps and partner with the Manager of Ambulatory Operations and the Liaison to propose process improvements.
- Support new initiatives, pilot programs, and technology implementations to enhance patient access and operational efficiency.
- Provide clear and courteous communication to internal and external stakeholders.
- Resolve escalated concerns from clinics or vendors with timely actions and transparent next steps.
- Audit data accuracy across systems by validating record completion and vendor productivity reports.
- Assist with data entry, verification, and report generation to monitor team performance.
- Engage with cross-functional teams and participate in project workgroups related to ambulatory initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal partners such as IT, Clinical Operations, and Access Management to ensure alignment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in healthcare operations or vendor support
