Finished Products Operations Maintenance Coordinator

Global Cellulose Fibers offers a salaried, full-time Operations Maintenance Coordinator role based onsite in Vanceboro, NC. This position supports the operations area manager, frontline leaders, and operating crews by coordinating scheduled and safe operational and maintenance activities. Compensation for this PL 13 role is $93,400 to $124,500 per year, with placement in the range determined by individual experience, skills, and abilities.

What you’ll do

• Provide leadership and support for the MWS team to drive effectiveness in reliability metrics.
• Guide daily and weekly Process Area MWS practices by proactively incorporating: Basic Care, Preventative Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, RCFA, Precision Maintenance, IEPM, Lubrication, and Facility Preservation.
• Work directly with the Area Process Manager to coordinate both routine activity and routine and annual outages.
• Lead the MWS process for the Business Unit.
• Facilitate MWS meetings including Daily, weekly planning and scheduling, and outage planning meetings.
• Review, screen, approve, and classify all notifications.
• Defend the planned schedule from unnecessary break-ins.
• Own and maintain the work order backlog.

What you bring

• B.S. degree in a related engineering field preferred; equivalent experience is acceptable.
• Experience as a First Line Leader and/or Process Engineer/Technical Assistant preferred.
• Basic understanding of maintenance management through SAP, including how a work request is created, planned, scheduled, and executed.
• Working knowledge of MS Project and MS Excel.
• Solid understanding of area operations, including critical parameters that impact safety, environmental, costs, quality, and customers.
• Ability to fill in for the Area Manager as needed.
