Join Deloitte Product Engineering (PxE) to help shape the next generation of AI driven products. This onsite role in Jersey City, NJ offers a discretionary annual incentive program and potential immigration sponsorship. You will work with cross functional teams in a collaborative culture that values continuous learning, practical experimentation, and delivering real value to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product's value and viability with a measurable ROI and be accountable for outcomes.
  • Develop strategy aligned solutions to meet product value objectives.
  • Set and pursue KPIs for defined problems and measure results to inform future plans.
  • Use AI to gather outcome evidence early and often, reducing total cost of ownership.
  • Co-create, own, and evangelize the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, leveraging AI to deepen domain knowledge and simulate future scenarios.
  • Ensure product objectives align with the product line and broader business goals.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering, experience, and delivery teams to shape solutions.
  • Apply AI to accelerate research, strengthen domain knowledge, and craft innovative visions with strong strategic rationale.
  • Conduct user research and competitive analysis, using AI agents to synthesize findings quickly while preserving human insight.
  • Engage users and stakeholders through ongoing research and direct interactions to keep the team aligned.
  • Guide cross functional teams toward solutions that address top user and business priorities.
  • Apply data analytics to derive actionable insights and move from analysis to action.
  • Adopt innovative and experimental approaches, including AI built disposable prototypes to validate ideas rapidly and retire poor ideas.
  • Work closely with business, engineering, experience, and delivery teams to achieve KPI outcomes.
  • Promote a product operating model focused on outcomes over outputs to maximize value and reduce waste.
  • Build empowered teams and communities with shared product ownership, leveraging AI and agentic tools to raise outcome potential.
  • Encourage rapid, emergent, and ongoing learning and adaptation to meet objectives.
  • Drive process improvements with AI to accelerate value, offload repetitive work, and speed production.
  • Remove obstacles to ensure a smooth flow of continuous value delivery.
  • Spread knowledge and best practices within the product vertical community.
  • Amplify innovation by using AI to deepen domain knowledge, uncover untapped markets, and simulate future pathways for the business.
  • Amplify learning with AI agents to synthesize research and validate ideas before backlog entry, speeding data processing while maintaining human connection.
  • Amplify focus by testing assumptions with AI and retiring ideas that do not serve users or the business.
  • Amplify experimentation with AI to build early, functional prototypes that validate architecture and support a productionized, iterative lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of proven experience in lean product management or related roles.
  • 3+ years of enterprise scale experience across multiple business areas.
  • 1+ year building AI based intelligent products.
  • 1+ year experience using GenAI tools to perform product management tasks such as idea research, shaping, synthesis, roadmaps, requirements, prototyping, and testing.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
  • Ability to travel 0-20% on average based on client needs.
  • Ability to work in the local office a minimum of 3 days per week.
  • Candidates must be located within a commutable distance to the listed location.
  • MBA or related advanced degree is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in modern product craft with lean practices and domain expertise; recognized as a leader in this space.
  • Proven accountability for value, viability, and P&L objectives for a product and empowered teams.
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong engagement methods to deliver solutions customers love and that work for the business.
  • AI Agentic Fluency: comfortable orchestrating multiple AI agents across the concept to cash flow with guardrails at hand-offs and sources of truth.
  • AI Realism and Eval Fluency: understands deterministic vs probabilistic generation; designs guardrails for hallucination, bias, and drift; uses evaluation harnesses before launch and monitors post launch.
  • Experience with modern agentic AI tools such as Claude Code, Claude Co-work, OpenAI Codex Cursor, and Visual Studio Code.
