Engagement Product Owner

Signalink, Inc. is seeking an Engagement Product Owner to support the Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Engagement Operations Team Product Owner role within the Army Program Acquisition Executive Fires (PEO Fires) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office. In this onsite position at Redstone Arsenal, AL, you will help prioritize and validate engagement-focused development software, guide the team using systems engineering concepts, and keep leadership informed on status, recommendations, and mission impacts.

What you will do

• Prioritize and validate development software for the Engagement team.
• Review and understand systems engineering concepts, designs, and algorithms, then provide guidance to the development team.
• Partner with program management to set priorities for capabilities and defects for each product increment and sprint.
• Deliver technical briefings and advisement to leadership covering status, recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission.
• Provide oversight to an EO SW development team, verifying work against agreed-upon acceptance criteria, including attending code reviews.
• Work directly with Agile software developers.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of Engagement Operations (EO) concepts, including engagement planning/scheduling, threat evaluation, target selection, battlespace prediction, and sensor resource management.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree from an accredited college (ABET Preferred) in Engineering, Science, and Mathematics.
• 10+ years of relevant Government/DoD experience.
• Fluency in the Microsoft Office toolset.

Preferred qualifications

• Knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS, and familiarity with current EO implementations in one or more DoD services.
• Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM team is a plus.
