Health Care Analytics and AI Senior Product Owner
Job Description
Deloitte's Converge for Health Care portfolio in Dallas, onsite, is offering a Senior Product Owner role focused on healthcare analytics, data, and AI-enabled products. The position delivers a competitive compensation range of USD 116,200 to 229,100 per year, plus a discretionary annual incentive program. This is a chance to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment that prioritizes practical impact and real-world client outcomes, with opportunities to influence how analytics and AI shape healthcare delivery.
As a Senior Product Owner, you will translate business priorities into executable product requirements, coordinate delivery with engineering and data teams, and ensure product capabilities align with the needs of practitioners and clients.
Responsibilities
- Drive the execution of product roadmaps and delivery plans alongside the Product Manager to maintain alignment, momentum, and clarity as ideas move from concept to delivery.
- Convert business objectives, practitioner input, and client needs into clear user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria, blending healthcare domain knowledge with technical fluency to bridge business context with engineering and data teams.
- Collaborate with engineering, data, and analytics teams to coordinate development, testing, and release activities, ensuring requirements are understood and solutions meet intended use cases and outcomes.
- Oversee day-to-day backlog operations, including prioritization, grooming, and sprint planning, balancing near-term delivery with longer-term product direction.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and working sessions to ensure progress aligns with roadmap priorities, milestones, and stakeholder expectations.
- Contribute to research, documentation, and design of new features by engaging with Deloitte leaders, practitioners, and clients to gather insights and validate assumptions grounded in real-world use.
- Support pilot efforts and early deployments of new analytics capabilities, including GenAI-enabled features and evolving agentic workflows, translating early learnings into scalable product improvements.
- Develop product collateral, demonstrations, and internal enablement materials to drive adoption across Deloitte Consulting teams and client engagements.
- Monitor product usage, performance signals, and feedback to identify refinement opportunities and surface insights to the Product Manager and broader product team.
Requirements
- Ability to translate ambiguous business and domain needs into structured product requirements and executable work items.
- Strong healthcare domain understanding with experience applying analytics- or data-enabled solutions across healthcare operations and performance improvement contexts.
- Technical fluency with analytics platforms and data-driven products, enabling effective collaboration with engineering, data, and analytics teams without requiring hands-on coding.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize inputs, evaluate tradeoffs, and articulate a clear “so what.”
- Clear, effective written and verbal communication skills for engaging Product Managers, engineers, consultants, and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to influence outcomes and drive progress across cross-functional teams in fast-moving, matrixed environments.
- Comfort operating within agile delivery environments and using product and delivery management tools for backlog tracking, sprint planning, documentation, and collaboration.
- Curiosity about emerging technologies such as advanced analytics, automation, GenAI, and agentic systems, and interest in applying these capabilities responsibly within healthcare products.
- Comfort working in evolving product portfolios where priorities, capabilities, and investment focus continue to mature over time.
Benefits
- Discretionary annual incentive program
