Job Description

Senior Product Owner for Health Care Analytics and AI on Deloitte's Converge for Health Care portfolio, based in Los Angeles, CA (onsite), with a salary range of USD 116,200 - 229,100 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of product roadmaps and delivery plans with the Product Manager, sustaining alignment and momentum as priorities move from concept to delivery.
  • Translate business objectives, practitioner input, and client needs into actionable user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria, blending healthcare domain knowledge with technical fluency to align business context with engineering and data teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering, data, and analytics squads to coordinate development, testing, and releases, ensuring requirements are clear and solutions meet intended use cases and outcomes.
  • Oversee day-to-day backlog management, including prioritization, grooming, and sprint planning, balancing near-term delivery with long-term product direction.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and working sessions to keep development progress aligned with roadmap priorities, milestones, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Contribute to research, documentation, and design of new features by engaging with Deloitte leaders, practitioners, and clients to gather insights, validate assumptions, and inform real-world product decisions.
  • Support pilots and early deployments of new analytics capabilities, including GenAI-enabled features and emerging agentic workflows, translating early learnings into scalable product improvements.
  • Create product collateral, demonstrations, and internal enablement materials to drive adoption across Deloitte Consulting teams and client engagements.
  • Monitor product usage, performance signals, and feedback to identify refinement opportunities, optimization needs, or future investments, sharing insights with the Product Manager and broader product team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience translating ambiguous business and domain needs into structured product requirements and executable work items.
  • Solid healthcare domain understanding, with experience applying analytics- or data-enabled solutions across healthcare operations and performance improvement contexts.
  • Technical fluency with analytics platforms and data-driven products, enabling effective collaboration with engineering, data, and analytics teams without requiring hands-on coding.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize inputs, evaluate tradeoffs, and articulate clear implications.
  • Clear, effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage Product Managers, engineers, consultants, and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence outcomes and drive progress across cross-functional teams operating in fast-moving, matrixed environments.
  • Familiarity with agile delivery practices and tools for backlog tracking, sprint planning, documentation, and collaboration to organize work and communicate progress.
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies such as advanced analytics, automation, GenAI, and agentic systems, with interest in responsible healthcare applications.
  • Comfort operating in evolving product portfolios where priorities, capabilities, and investment focus mature over time.
  • Bachelor's degree required
