Product Design Engineer

PSG is seeking a Product Design Engineer to support product design engineering work across new and existing products, components, and assemblies. This onsite role in Grand Terrace, CA combines engineering fundamentals with feasibility analysis and hands-on involvement throughout prototype development, from initial design through fabrication and assembly.

In this position, you will apply engineering principles to create solutions that align with customer technical and functional specifications while also meeting manufacturing cost and efficiency requirements. You will use mathematical modeling to evaluate whether proposed designs are technically feasible, and you will contribute to prototype design, testing, and iterative modification as needed.

What you’ll do

• Apply engineering principles to develop mechanical, electronic, or chemical products that meet customer technical and functional specifications and manufacturing cost and efficiency requirements.
• Perform mathematical modeling to determine technical feasibility of proposed designs.
• Support and participate in the design, test, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototypes.
• May contribute to designing product-specific manufacturing production processes and equipment.
• Work independently with general supervision.
• May influence others within the job area by explaining facts, policies, and practices.

Compensation and bonus

The pay range for this role is USD 97,000 to USD 110,000 per year (onsite in Grand Terrace, CA). You may also be eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in PSG’s applicable bonus plan.
