Product Design & Engineering - Design Supervisor

Onsite leadership role in Auburn Hills, Michigan guiding design across multiple vehicle programs and overseeing a team of SBU Designers. You will ensure timely delivery of high quality engineering solutions that support program objectives, meet technical requirements, comply with regulatory standards, and align with corporate release milestones. The role also emphasizes innovation through the adoption of emerging technologies to elevate product quality and design execution.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coordinating, and supervising multiple concurrent design activities across several vehicle programs while managing a team of Salary Bargaining Unit (SBU) Designers.
• Ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality engineering solutions that support program objectives, technical requirements, regulatory compliance, and corporate release milestones.
• Fostering innovation and the adoption of emerging technologies to enhance product quality, engineering efficiency, and overall design execution.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering or design experience
• Minimum of 3 years of Teamcenter experience
• Minimum of 3 years of NX experience
• MS Office experience
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management process
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
