Job Description

ASI Corp, a Fremont, California–based distributor of hardware and consumer electronics, is looking for a technically adept Product Manager to steward the end-to-end lifecycle across hardware categories. This on-site role centers on shaping strategy, roadmaps, go-to-market plans, and vendor partnerships that serve both B2B and B2C audiences. The position carries a salary of USD 75,000 to 85,000 per year and requires a bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of four years of relevant experience in product management, sales, or business development within the IT hardware space.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the P&L for designated hardware product lines, driving revenue growth, margin optimization, and lifecycle profitability
  • Develop and sustain strategic vendor and OEM partnerships across executive, product, and operations teams to align on roadmaps, supply, and GTM initiatives
  • Create and implement GTM strategies, including product launches, promotions, and channel marketing programs for consumer electronics and hardware solutions
  • Collaborate with sales teams and channel partners to identify new business opportunities, support sell-through, and grow the sales pipeline
  • Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer demand to inform product positioning, assortment, and roadmap decisions
  • Produce reports, dashboards, and executive presentations to monitor performance, KPIs, and strategic initiatives
  • Develop annual and quarterly business plans detailing revenue targets, marketing investments, and growth strategies
  • Design and implement pricing strategies across key accounts and channels to balance competitiveness, margin, and market position
  • Lead demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management with vendors and supply chain teams to optimize availability and minimize excess or obsolete stock
  • Maintain deep category and technical knowledge of assigned segments (e.g., storage, networking, peripherals, displays, surveillance) and stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • At least four years of Product Manager, Sales and/or BDM-related experience in IT hardware distribution channel or manufacturing
  • Ability to develop business strategies that drive incremental sales revenue and profitability
  • High achiever with a sales-focused mindset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate effectively by phone
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
  • Able to adapt in a fast-paced business environment
  • Experience with IT components preferred
  • In-office work is required
