Product Manager
Job Description
ASML is building the next generation of computational lithography, and the Process Window Enhancement team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own product direction end to end. In this hybrid role based in San Jose, you will shape the product definition, market strategy, and roadmap while partnering closely with customers and cross-functional teams to drive execution from requirements through rollout.
What you will do
- Identify product growth areas and drive product definition, design and development, customer engagement, and roadmap extensions
- Build deep customer knowledge through direct customer interactions, translating technical requirements into roadmap and engagement strategies
- Own product requirements, market validation, and product roadmaps, including product requirement documents with business cases and market feasibility and validation plans
- Define feature priorities and determine detailed release scope with R&D, product engineering, quality assurance, and project management
- Evaluate financial drivers for product development, including budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, return on investment, and profit-loss projections
- Develop and execute the product business plan by analyzing business development opportunities and monitoring market trends, using sales forecasting and strategic planning to support sales and profitability
- Define product rollout and customer engagement plans together with product engineering and account teams
- Partner with product engineering to develop comprehensive application flows and BKMs to support application flow
- Serve as a competition expert, driving competitive analysis and positioning, and developing competitive marketing campaigns to support market share and profitability
- Collaborate cross-functionally on competitive selling, pricing, market development, and field solutions
- Develop product use cases and marketing materials, including sales collateral and market communication plans such as press releases, launch materials, customer presentations, and sales training materials
- Create core product positioning and messaging and direct market communication activities across channels
- Manage issues and escalations tied to ordering of product, systems and tools, and manufacturing supply
Collaboration and travel
- Customer visits and meetings with up to 20% travel
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Physical Sciences (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the semiconductor industry
- 3+ years experience in product marketing and management with working knowledge in lithography, metrology, and process control
- Experience working with semiconductor customers worldwide
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in global operations
- HPC strategy, GPU infrastructure, and AI/ML enablement experience is a plus
- Strong customer focus with broad industry connections, including owning customers as an advocate and expert
- Leadership skills to influence and organize across multiple functional organizations to achieve outcomes
- Ability to develop strong relationships with engineering, sales, and field support organizations
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a multi-cultural environment
- Strong attention to detail to support clear product definition and alignment to the market plan

Location and work arrangement
This position is based in San Jose, California and is described as hybrid, with onsite presence needed for in-person work-related events, trainings, and meetings to support teamwork, collaboration, and innovation. A flexible workplace arrangement is available for remote work up to two days per week.
Compensation
- USD 177,000 - 295,000 per year
