Product Manager, Data Visualization
Job Description
The Product Manager will oversee the development of GEODS products through operational deployment, leading Scrum teams from requirements through delivery while maintaining the backlog and roadmap. The role includes direct supervision of the development team and coordination with test, integration, and operations.
Role Overview
Guide one or more Scrum teams to deliver high-value work against approved priorities. Maintain a robust backlog and roadmap, support the requirements process with government stakeholders, and provide leadership visibility into progress, risks, and impediments. Work in partnership with Chief Architect and Chief Engineer to define program vision for future years.
Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize work for one or more Scrum teams, maintaining the team backlog in Jira and adding items as feedback is received
- Support teams in developing user stories and acceptance criteria that are clearly understood by developers
- Review and accept completed work, ensuring alignment with defined acceptance criteria
- Ensure the team focuses on the highest value approved priorities while avoiding scope creep
- Collaborate with government partners to move new efforts through the requirements process
- Assist Chief Architect and Chief Engineer with roadmap development and program vision for future years
- Oversee projects to support successful completion and adherence to timelines
- Monitor project progress and identify potential issues alongside the Scrum Master
- Provide contract and government leadership visibility into team progress and impediments, including reporting such as CDRLs and KPIs
- Directly supervise the development team and coordinate with supporting groups including test, integration, and operations
Required Qualifications
- Ability to clearly communicate complex technical challenges and obstacles verbally and in writing
- Previous experience supervising developers and engineers delivering new and updated software interfaces
- Previous experience serving as a Product Owner or Product Manager
- Experience utilizing SAFe or similar Agile methodologies
- Experience with UI/UX testing and incorporating, prioritizing, and acting on feedback
- Active TS/SCI with Poly
Preferred Qualifications
- AI experience if applicable to your program
- Database engineering experience
- Strong familiarity with Atlassian tool suite, specifically Confluence and Jira
- Certified Scrum Product Owner or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification
- AWS cloud experience and related certifications
- Familiarity with NGA requirements process, including RFCs

Salary
USD 150,000 - 200,000 per year
