Job Description

Zions Bancorporation is seeking a Product Manager focused on ERP Banking and APIs to guide a secure, auditable access solution that bridges ERP systems and API ecosystems. Based in Houston, this onsite role enables configurable access to accounts, payments, and services while reducing risk and enabling scalable growth. You will work cross-functionally with sales, risk, and IT teams to define strategy and bring new initiatives to market.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the product feature and functionality subject-matter expert
  • Maintain and continuously improve product assets including FAQs, sales materials, training documentation, and operational workflows
  • Monitor vendor releases and participate in vendor reviews
  • Foster strong supplier relationships and strive to be an extraordinary partner
  • Lead product sales, implementation, and service training
  • Identify issues quickly, escalate when needed, and close with a focus on client experience
  • Collaborate with sales, sales support, marketing and operations to engage customers and clearly communicate product features
  • Contribute to the financial success of ECP products, including pricing strategy and growth opportunities
  • Engage with senior management on coordination matters
  • Identify new product opportunities
  • Monitor client needs and market trends
  • Work with integrated vendors to influence vendor product roadmaps
  • Define the product roadmap in line with IT governance guidance and sales prioritization
  • Draft business cases and product requirements
  • Deliver new product initiatives to market through end-to-end processes from compliance and risk review to commercialization readiness, training and launch
  • Ensure the product suite is managed end-to-end through all lifecycle stages
  • Manage regulatory changes affecting the product offering
  • Respond to regulatory information requests
  • Support risk management activities
  • Maintain supplier relationships
  • Conduct annual AML/BSA reviews

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in business, marketing or related field with relevant product management experience
  • 8+ years of product management experience
  • Strong familiarity with banking services and products is preferred
  • Experience with APIs, ERP systems, treasury workstations and related accounting platforms (A/R, A/P)
  • Solid problem solving and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Proven relationship builder with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Collaborative approach across diverse groups
  • Self-motivated, independent worker with initiative, creativity and deadline discipline
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Agile experience preferred
  • A combination of education and experience may meet the requirements

Product Management

  • Act as the Product feature/functionality expert (SME)
  • Maintain and continuously improve organizational product assets including FAQ, sales materials, training documentation, and operational workflows
  • Monitor vendor releases and participate in vendor reviews
  • Nurture supplier relationships and strive to be an extraordinary partner
  • Conduct product sales, implementation, and service training
  • Identify issues quickly, escalate and bring to closure, with a critical focus on client experience
  • Interface with sales, sales support, marketing and operations partners to engage customers and inform customers of the detailed features and functionality of product offerings
  • Contribute to the financial success of ECP products, including pricing strategy and growth opportunity identification for products/services
  • Interact with senior management on matters requiring coordination

Product Development

  • Identify new product opportunities
  • Stay abreast of client needs and market trends
  • Work with integrated vendors to provide input into vendor product roadmap
  • Define product roadmap in accordance with IT Governance Guidance and prioritization from Sales
  • Write business cases and requirements
  • Deliver new product initiatives to market through comprehensive compliance and risk review processes, to commercialization preparations, to training and launch activities
  • Ensuring product suite is managed end-to-end during all phases of the product life cycle (introduction-growth-maturity-decline-sunset)

Risk Management

  • Manage regulatory changes that affect product offering
  • Respond to regulatory requests for information
  • Assist with risk management activities
  • Manage supplier relationships
  • Perform annual AML/BSA review
