Job Description

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Product Manager V to shape strategy, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes for complex Epic and PL/SQL driven products, based in Greenwood Village (onsite).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee business-focused initiatives by applying subject-matter expertise, ensuring compliance with procedures, building work plans to meet priorities and deadlines, defining processes, and coordinating resources to achieve organizational goals. Identify and escalate risks and issues as needed while coordinating with internal and external partners.
  • Demonstrate self-leadership and cultivate learning across cross‑functional teams by sharing insights, guiding projects forward, influencing colleagues, and acting on performance feedback; adapt to shifting priorities and mentor junior team members.
  • Articulate product strategy and vision, and develop roadmaps from ideation to launch for complex offerings; assess potential business process changes and system impacts to validate the feasibility of enhancements; ensure end-to-end alignment of processes with the user experience.
  • Serve as a lead facilitator and consultant for the product team and diverse stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle; resolve cross-squad dependencies, roadblocks, and constraints; collaborate with operations and market teams to support product adoption and readiness training; lead key feature demonstrations for stakeholders.
  • Lead discovery for new and existing products by partnering with stakeholders to uncover business needs, identify marketplace innovations, and drive prototyping and user validation with support from UX, design, and engineering; ensure learnings inform the roadmap.
  • Monitor and drive performance by defining KPIs, reviewing dashboards, validating alignment with goals, and producing ad hoc reports and presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Guide the product team in solving complex user problems by prioritizing the backlog to balance new development, non-functional requirements, and technical work, and by leading competitive and user research, testing, experimentation, and design thinking initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems Management, Data Analytics, Engineering, Social Science, or related field, plus at least eight years of experience in product management, project management, IT consulting, product development/support, business/system analysis, or a closely related field. Equivalent experience may substitute for the degree.
  • Minimum three years of product management experience, including discovery and development of short-term and long-term product strategies.
  • Minimum three years working with agile teams, with familiarity of scrum ceremonies and agile practices.
  • Minimum two years in strategic planning and building product roadmaps.
  • Minimum three years in a leadership role, with or without direct reports.
