Job Description

Lead product operations for mobility software in North America, onsite at Virginia offices three days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Business Operations, Product Managers, Technical Leads, and DevOps teams to drive quality outcomes and improve delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear stories, epics, and themes, ensuring the DevOps team stays aligned with product objectives.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, fortnightly sprint kickoffs, and showcases) with teams dispersed across North America and Australia.
  • Ensure product performance meets defined operational and functional requirements, run performance forums, and manage incidents through resolution.
  • Verify that the latest DevOps changes meet business requirements and are ready for release.
  • Identify process improvements and opportunities to drive revenue or reduce costs within Tolling Operations, supporting initiatives like GoToll Expansion, Payments Platform Replacement, and Road User Charging.

Requirements

  • Business Analysis and Requirements Elicitation: Proven ability to translate stakeholder needs into technical requirements, stories, and epics in an Agile/SCRUM setting, with a focus on cost and revenue savings.
  • System Testing, Verification, and Quality Assurance: Hands-on experience defining, managing, and executing system-level and user acceptance testing to ensure features operate as intended and align with business verification measures.
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Structured Incident Management: Practical understanding of service management principles to manage operational performance, run performance forums, and track incidents to resolution within a DevOps environment.
  • Strong Communication and Relationship Management: Excellent interpersonal skills to bridge Virginia operations with product teams in California and Australia.
  • Agile and Software Product Delivery: Practical experience supporting commercial, cloud-native software products and applying service management processes.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage operational incidents, prioritize enhancement requests, and drive outcomes with minimal oversight.

About the Role

We are seeking a Product Operations Lead to shape and oversee the operation of our mobility software products in North America and to drive strategic growth and innovation.

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferable skills, including

  • Business analysis and requirements elicitation: translating stakeholder needs into actionable requirements, stories, and epics in Agile/SCRUM, with emphasis on cost/revenue savings.

  • Project management: capable of handling operational incidents, prioritizing enhancement requests, and driving outcomes with minimal supervision.

Residency and relocation

Candidates residing in the DMV area (DC, Maryland, Virginia) or within a reasonable commuting distance to Tysons Corner or Alexandria, VA, or willing to relocate at their own expense, will be prioritized.
