Product Owner

The Product Owner for Connected Services at American Contract Group, Inc will steer embedded software efforts and document the resulting solutions, coordinating teams in Jackson, MN and India. This position focuses on telemetry and IoT offerings, delivering products that meet high standards for performance, durability, reliability, quality, and serviceability across global markets.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development efforts across the US and India teams operating from Jackson, MN
• Drive overall software development initiatives and align them with product goals
• Document software solutions to ensure clarity, maintainability, and traceability
• Ensure superior product performance, durability, reliability, quality, and serviceability for telemetry and IoT solutions worldwide

Requirements

• Experience applying AI within software development workflows
• 8+ years of embedded software development using C/C++
• 3+ years in senior or staff level embedded software roles
• 8+ years of object-oriented programming experience
• 3+ years on an Agile software team
• 5+ years building embedded Linux applications, ideally with Yocto
• 3+ years applying systems engineering practices in requirements and architecture design
• 3+ years of team lead or project lead experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
