Product Owner / AI Automation

Motion Recruitment is hiring an AI Product Owner (AI Automation) for a long-term contract in Irving, TX (Hybrid).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the liaison between business lines and technology partners to deliver complex business problems addressed through automated solutions
• Align Intelligent Automation (IA) needs and usage with technology and business strategy
• Help define the automation analysis and design methodology, including policies, procedures, tools, and artifacts to support rapid implementation aligned to established release cycles and enterprise standards
• Partner with subject matter experts to understand business processes and convert them into clear, concise user stories
• Create and groom the backlog for automation delivery and deployment
• Support automation testing and facilitate user acceptance testing
• Conduct product demos and provide product acceptance
• Proactively surface risks, bottlenecks, problems, and issues to stakeholders
• Ensure delivery complies with the company’s System Development Lifecycle and Information Security requirements
• Identify and communicate risks and impacts, propose risk mitigation options, and consider business implications of applying technology to the current environment
• Apply interpretive thinking and design thinking to analyze problems, develop innovative solutions, and influence strategic functional decisions
• Drive accountability for assigned initiatives to limit risk exposure and create efficiencies as appropriate
• Collaborate with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
• Work with developers to clarify requirements and client needs
• Make product and functionality decisions requiring strong understanding of business context, policies, procedures, and/or compliance requirements

Requirements

• Strong understanding of AI, Gen-AI, Agentic AI, multi-agent systems, and orchestration platforms; ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Experience leading and collaborating with Engineering teams to design and implement solutions
• Hands-on experience with Agentic AI workflows using tools such as LangChain/LangGraph, Google Agent Space, and MS CoPilot Studio
• Experience deploying AI/ML solutions in regulated environments
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and enterprise software development
• Familiarity with Gen AI platforms including OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, and BloombergGPT
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
