Product Owner - Cash Services, VP - Alpha

This VP-level Product Owner role for State Street Alpha Cash Services drives the development and delivery of products and business solutions aligned with the Alpha Cash Services roadmap. The position is based onsite in Boston, MA and requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive adoption and execution.

Responsibilities

• Perform market analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
• Gather customer requirements and map the competitive landscape.
• Generate innovative product concepts that address key market opportunities and challenges within Alpha Cash Services.
• Forge strong partnerships with internal stakeholders across Sales, Operations, Technology, Cash Service product implementation, other product development service families, and E2E architecture teams to shape and coordinate cross-functional solutions aligned with client and business goals.
• Serve as a bridge between business units and technology teams to advance product demand and strategy.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of front-to-back investment management and investment services with a focus on digital user experience.
• Collaborate with business and technology partners to link business goals and strategies to the data and technology investments required to achieve them.
• Present recommendations to senior Alpha leadership through clear written and oral communication.
• Assist with pricing strategies and the development of product policies.

• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the capacity to handle multiple competing priorities.
• Creative and strategic thinker focused on achieving outcomes.
• Experience writing features and requirements.
• Product Owner experience in Agile environments.
• Relevant experience in financial services.
• Solid understanding of State Street businesses.
• Comfort with operations processes and procedures and the ability to learn quickly.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office products, including MS Access and Visio, plus Jira and Confluence, and PowerPoint.
• Strong business writing and experience developing process flow diagrams and communicating current versus future processes.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, MIS, information technology, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in data analysis, operations, or product management.

Compensation

Salary range: USD 110,000 - 188,750 per year
