Product Owner, Client Integrations
Job Description
StarsHR, Inc. is seeking a Product Owner, Client Integrations for a contract-to-hire engagement based in Plano, Texas. The role combines product ownership with technical business analysis, translating complex client needs into actionable integration solutions, leading discovery sessions, documenting requirements, and coordinating UAT across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison for client integration projects, coordinating with stakeholders across teams.
- Lead discovery sessions to define workflows, data exchanges, event triggers, and business rules.
- Write and maintain detailed functional specifications with revision history throughout the development lifecycle, incorporating input from business stakeholders, partners, engineering, and QA.
- Develop and present project updates, reporting, and dashboards that deliver transparency and actionable insights for clients and executive leadership.
- Define system functionality, including workflows, impacts to existing applications, and user navigation paths.
- Gather business requirements from appropriate stakeholders when formal documentation is not provided.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with internal operations teams and external clients.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Master’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Integration Analyst, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to deliver clear project updates, status reports, and dashboards to clients and executive stakeholders.
- Solid project management and time management capabilities.
- Ability to solve problems across business, functional, technical, and operational domains.
- Experience with APIs (REST, SOAP, or similar), including payloads, authentication, error handling, and status codes.
- Familiarity with SDLC and agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Swagger and Postman.

Compensation
Annual compensation range: USD 89,992.00 – 100,257.00 per year
