Product Owner, Corporate Business Technology
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Articulate the business vision, objectives, and goals; define the minimum viable product and establish a prioritized product backlog.
- Enable backlog delivery by presenting work to the team, creating, owning, and refining clear user stories and artifacts for new products and features, and establishing acceptance criteria with the team; accept stories as they are completed.
- Support the Agile team’s maturity, performance, and growth.
- Partner with scrum teams daily to refine, groom, and accept stories and bugs for implementation.
- Develop UAT test cases, coordinate and facilitate UAT, track results, and collaborate with the scrum master and team to resolve issues.
- Represent the team to external stakeholders, leaders, and other groups to maintain alignment and progress visibility.
- Support the Agile program and ensure adherence to enterprise Agile standards; provide feedback for process enhancements.
- Champion change and guide the implementation of new ideas.
- Align and motivate the team to achieve objectives.
- Identify opportunities to optimize and redesign processes to reach objectives more quickly and with higher probability of success.
- Provide one-on-one coaching to team members to foster growth and accountability.
- Communicate relevant information effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build, prioritize, and define workflows and requirements.
- Foster a collaborative approach across client projects and internal initiatives.
- Encourage input from team members at all levels and contribute high-quality work and partnership to the broader team.
- Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders to discern needs and evaluate alternative business solutions and strategies.
- Continuously identify ways to increase customer satisfaction and deepen business relationships.
- Carry out other related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner in an Agile environment
- Proficiency with Office365 and SharePoint
- Demonstrated success directing developers as a project manager or product owner in a deadline-driven, fast-paced setting
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with knowledge of project management concepts, preferably Agile/Scrum
- Hands-on leadership of process improvement initiatives
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution, preferably in technology, business, project management or related field

Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in an Agile environment as a Product Owner
- Experience with Office365 and SharePoint
- Proven track record directing developers as a project manager or product owner in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks with knowledge of project management concepts (preferably Agile/Scrum)
- Hands-on experience leading process improvement initiatives
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
- High School Diploma or GED

- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution, with a focus in technology, business, project management or related field
Hiring Range
- Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $116,800 - $168,810
- All Other Locations (within approved locations): $99,700 - $148,325
The hiring range reflects good faith pay for this role and varies by location.
