Product Owner, GenAI

Build and scale AI products with Royal Caribbean Group in Miami. This onsite role as Product Owner, GenAI shapes and executes the Gen AI Center of Excellence (COE) strategy, turning business demand into AI-driven solutions. You will manage intake, prioritize opportunities, oversee delivery, and track post-deployment performance so teams can deliver measurable value aligned to business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for business teams, intake requests for AI and data analytics projects, and oversee demand management to align business priorities with AI capabilities
• Own and manage the AI product roadmap, prioritizing features and tasks based on business impact, technical feasibility, and resource availability
• Partner with senior leadership, business stakeholders, and development teams to define AI product requirements and success criteria, and communicate project status in a timely manner
• Work with AI development teams to define, develop, and deliver AI-powered products and solutions; oversee user acceptance testing and ensure quality standards before deployment
• Drive continuous improvement within the COE by identifying opportunities to optimize processes, tools, and AI capabilities; monitor post-deployment performance
• Oversee integration and usage of key AI tools and platforms, including Azure Databricks, Mosaic AI, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure Machine Learning, Power BI, and Azure AI Services
• Identify risks and issues related to product delivery, proactively manage dependencies, and remove blockers to support timely outcomes
• Foster collaboration across data science, engineering, and business teams; provide thought leadership on AI trends and support growth of junior team members

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Relevant certifications in product management, AI, or data analytics are a plus
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, including at least 2 years focused on AI/ML-driven products
• Experience with demand management intake processes and product prioritization in a technology-driven environment
• Strong familiarity with AI tools and platforms including Azure Databricks, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and other Microsoft AI solutions
• Deep understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle, including data ingestion, model development, deployment, and monitoring
• Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management frameworks, such as Scrum and Kanban
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and technical teams
• Collaborative mindset and ability to foster cross-functional teamwork
• Demonstrated thought leadership and support for junior team member growth
