Product Owner I
Job Description

As a Product Owner I, you’ll collaborate with a single team on a product focus area, refine the Frost user experience, and deliver top-quality service grounded in Integrity, Caring, and Excellence.
What you’ll do
- Work with a cross-functional team to deliver products and services, ensuring efforts align with Frost’s vision for technology that is elegant, useful, and secure.
- Communicate project impact across the quadruple bottom line, including priority, development approach, and release plan, to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with customers, users, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to research the product space, understand how current offerings work, and identify opportunities to apply new approaches and technologies.
- Create solution descriptions and acceptance criteria for team execution, and translate business needs for IT support teams.
- Monitor pending project status to keep the team focused on building relevant products with reliable architecture at an appropriate pace, and adapt plans as needed to maximize total value.
- Write acceptance criteria and requirements to ensure feasibility and business value, estimate project size, and define a clear minimum viable product (MVP).
- Maintain a product backlog that routes work to the implementation team.
- Document current and proposed processes, and analyze how proposed process changes will integrate with current workflows.
- Ensure new features and programs meet business and system requirements.
- Evaluate potential process and system improvements, prioritize future projects, and redesign operational processes to use new technology and resources more efficiently.

What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, entrepreneurial, and collaborative mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Helpful experience
- Experience in product management, customer experience management, business analysis, software engineering, banking, finance, or a related field.
- Experience with digital technologies, including desktop and mobile platforms.
- Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
