Program Manager III, UX Research Operations

The Program Manager III, UX Research Operations at YouTube is based onsite in New York, NY, and leads YouConnect's Panels and Participant Quality pillar, overseeing recruitment panels and the associated UX research operations. The position offers a salary range of USD 159,000 to 231,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine research panels by implementing automated screeners and selection workflows to accelerate recruitment while preserving data reliability.
• Establish and govern health policies for the participant pool, covering the full lifecycle from opt-in to opt-out to sustain a trusted, highly engaged panel.
• Track panel performance metrics and provide regular reports to leadership to inform strategic decisions and assess recruitment impact.
• Oversee third-party bring your own participant platforms and external vendors, ensuring compliant operations and quality control for specialized or sensitive recruitment cohorts.
• Serve as the primary liaison for UX researchers to balance priorities, communicate program shifts, and drive smooth adoption of new panel processes across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of five years in program or project management roles.
• Experience working in general operations, programs, and strategy within engineering or technical program management contexts.
• Experience in UX research operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Five years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Knowledge of the UX function at Google and its role in product development.
