Senior Product Manager - Benefits
Job Description
TriNet is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead strategic initiatives within its Benefits & Pricing domain. The role focuses on setting product direction, guiding delivery from concept through launch, and improving the benefits experience while supporting business outcomes.
Core Responsibilities
- Identify and validate customer and business needs, along with market opportunities, to shape product direction
- Conduct customer, market, and stakeholder research to inform product strategy and experience improvements
- Own and evolve the roadmap for assigned benefits products
- Define, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog for one or more delivery teams
- Translate complex customer and business needs into requirements, user stories, and actionable delivery plans
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, operations, sales, and business partners to deliver high-quality solutions
- Support agile planning and execution through sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and PI planning
- Manage dependencies across teams, functions, external partners, and operational stakeholders to maintain delivery momentum
- Drive timely, high-quality delivery aligned to customer and business outcomes
- Measure product performance using KPIs and other relevant success metrics
- Apply feedback and data-driven continuous improvement practices to reduce friction and increase adoption
- Support product launches
- Partner with sales, marketing, operations, and customer teams to support go-to-market execution
- Use customer feedback to inform future roadmap planning and ongoing product enhancements
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience, or comparable experience in a related role
- In-depth knowledge of benefits administration and medical insurance domains
- Experience delivering external- or partner-facing technology products and capabilities
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe
- Proven ability to work across cross-functional, matrixed teams and bring clarity to ambiguous problems
- Strong prioritization skills balancing customer, partner, and business value
- Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and requirements-definition skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience within the PEO industry
- Experience using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar product delivery platforms

- Strong ownership, resilience, and attention to detail in driving outcomes

Role Logistics
Location: Atlanta, GA (onsite)
Compensation: USD 89,600 - 168,000 per year
Experience: 5+ years
