Senior Product Manager, Profile
Job Description
Autodesk is hiring a Senior Product Manager to join the Profile team in San Francisco, working onsite. In this role, you will own the product vision and roadmap for expanding a unified, authoritative customer view, then translate that direction into real-world delivery with engineering.
You will help Profile serve internal teams and external developers by delivering customer context through real-time and analytics/AI capabilities. The work includes tightening consistency across views, defining expectations for freshness, speed, and reliability for AI consumers, and using measurable outcomes to demonstrate impact on adoption and business results.
What you’ll own
- Own and execute the roadmap for expanding the customer view
- Partner with engineering to evolve an automated pathway that enables systems across Autodesk to publish data into Profile
- Strengthen Profile as the authoritative home for customer data, ensuring real-time and analytics views remain consistent
- Define what real-time, analytics, and AI consumers (including assistants and agents) can expect for freshness, speed, and reliability
- Act as the main point of contact for teams that use Profile and supply its data, championing value and enabling adoption
- Expand Profile into high-impact new uses, including personalization as well as fraud and risk
- Treat privacy and compliance as core product requirements, partnering closely with security, legal, and trust teams
- Use data to report on measures that matter most, spanning adoption, reliability, and business outcomes
- Communicate clear product requirements and drive delivery with the team
- Keep stakeholders informed on status, risks, and changes across launches and deprecations
- Serve as the go-to expert for Profile by keeping documentation current and supporting teams that build on it
What you bring
- 4+ years in product management, including technical products such as APIs, platform services, data products, or developer tools
- Proven ability to set direction and rally cross-functional teams through influence rather than formal authority
- Strong stakeholder management, with early communication, anticipation of needs, and alignment with peers and senior leadership
- Customer empathy, turning research and insights into product decisions that address real user needs
- Strategic thinking that connects customer problems to product strategy, business outcomes, and clear KPIs
- Disciplined prioritization across competing needs of many consumers behind a single coherent product
- Technical depth to read an API specification and reason about data structure, freshness, latency, and scale
- Compelling communication and storytelling that drives adoption with internal teams and customers
- Product discovery experience, validating value, usability, feasibility, and business risk with qualitative and quantitative methods
- Track record of end-to-end delivery and driving successful launch and adoption
- Data-driven approach, instrumenting products and turning data into decisions
