Job Description

Broadcom is seeking a Senior Product Owner to lead multiple products within its mainframe software division and drive delivery against the product roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an intermediary between market and business requirements and R&D by advocating for product needs internally
  • Plan and prioritize product roadmap work and product support issues with the scrum team
  • Analyze customer needs to prioritize product features and break them into functional stories with Architecture and Engineering
  • Manage priorities across multiple product backlogs and coordinate execution with scrum teams using tools such as Rally and Jira
  • Remove cross-team roadblocks to maintain quality standards, meet project deadlines, and support business objectives
  • Present product functions and capabilities to internal and external stakeholders during demo sessions, marketing events, and/or executive reviews
  • Partner with Architecture teams on solutioning new features and capabilities, including evaluating the applicability of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
  • Measure customer adoption and retention using the GTM plan and tactics to achieve product KPIs

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering and 8+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or enterprise software development
  • Technical knowledge of mainframe software, transformation trends, and related insights
  • Expertise managing complex cross-functional, cross-business, and cross-disciplinary projects
  • Ability to partner with business stakeholders to achieve goals and objectives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations
  • Strong stakeholder management and effective communication
  • Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams in a software development environment, including defining product backlogs and prioritization
  • Experience managing customer requests, issues, and/or escalations
  • Leadership, organization, and time management skills

  • Annual base salary range: $104,100 - $166,500
