Job Description

Danone is building a Direct Commerce and Commercial Insights portfolio that connects growth priorities to connected commerce experiences, analytics, and decision-ready insights. In this hybrid role based in White Plains, NY, you will help shape strategy, drive prioritization across multiple squads, and ensure roadmap choices translate into measurable commercial value. Compensation ranges from USD 162,000 to 233,000 per year.

You will own portfolio governance for a domain spanning B2B, D2C, eCommerce, and insights squads, balancing discovery, delivery, and optimization across platforms, data, and user journeys. The role also includes executive-ready communication of priorities, trade-offs, dependencies, and outcomes.

What you’ll do

  • Own the product vision and expected value for the broader Direct Commerce & Commercial Insights portfolio.
  • Lead portfolio-level prioritization across multiple squads, reflecting strategic business priorities, dependencies, risks, and delivery capacity.
  • Make cross-domain trade-offs on scope, timing, complexity, and investment to maximize commercial impact.
  • Define and orchestrate the multi-squad roadmap for the domain, ensuring alignment with growth priorities, channel strategies, and platform constraints.
  • Sequence work across squads to account for cross-product dependencies, value realization, and business timing.
  • Evaluate platform and solution options with technical teams, balancing scalability, cost, speed-to-value, and sustainability.
  • Maintain a clear portfolio narrative that links investments to business outcomes and product evolution.
  • Serve as the senior product counterpart to business, commercial, digital, data, and IT stakeholders across the product group.
  • Communicate portfolio status, risks, dependencies, and strategic choices in an executive-ready format.
  • Foster collaboration across squads to avoid duplication and improve sequencing for ecosystem coherence.
  • Own product strategy and prioritization for digital B2B commercial capabilities.
  • Guide evolution of D2C and eCommerce journeys, including transactional and insight-related needs.
  • Ensure insights and reporting capabilities support decision-making across the commercial product scope.
  • Maintain portfolio standards for platform reliability, data consistency, delivery quality, and operational continuity.
  • Oversee issue prioritization and escalation when defects, dependencies, or operational risks have material business impact.
  • Drive cross-squad governance of KPIs, reporting standards, and product performance indicators, including business definitions and value measurement.
  • Promote experimentation, KPI-driven reviews, phased rollout strategies, and post-launch learning loops.
  • Use portfolio outcomes such as adoption, revenue support, conversion, service performance, and stakeholder satisfaction to guide continuous improvement.

  • Broad familiarity with commerce-relevant platforms and ecosystems, including Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe DAM, and Salsify.

  • Deep understanding of B2B, D2C, eCommerce, and digital commercial product ecosystems.
  • Strong commercial acumen with familiarity of KPIs such as conversion, revenue, average order value, retention, and customer lifetime value.
  • Ability to connect investments with business growth, profitability, and operational effectiveness.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end commerce architecture, including front-end experiences, platform integrations, and insight/reporting layers.
  • Experience managing cross-product data dependencies and KPI governance across multiple squads.
  • Familiarity with integrations among commerce platforms, analytics tools, customer data systems, and reporting layers.
  • Ability to prioritize and assess value realization using quantitative and qualitative signals.
