Schwab Retirement Technologies is hiring a Senior Product Owner / Product Manager to guide product delivery for retirement plan digital experiences.

Own, prioritize, and maintain the Agile team backlog, ensuring alignment to customer needs, business objectives, and product strategy
Develop and refine user stories and acceptance criteria to give engineering and QA clear implementation guidance
Partner with engineers, architects, UX designers, and Scrum Masters to deliver high-quality web and mobile experiences
Support key initiatives, including participant dashboard modernization and ongoing enhancements to the participant mobile application
Participate in discovery to understand customer needs, pain points, and innovation opportunities
Collaborate with clients, participants, and vendor partners to collect feedback and incorporate insights into product decisions
Lead backlog refinement and sprint planning, and participate in other Agile ceremonies while supporting predictable delivery and backlog health
Monitor product performance and identify future enhancements that improve the overall participant experience

7+ years of Product Owner, Product Management, Business Analysis, or related Agile delivery experience
Proven ability to manage and prioritize product backlogs in Agile environments
Strong skills in user story writing, requirements gathering, and backlog refinement
Experience delivering customer-facing digital products, including web or mobile applications
Ability to balance strategic roadmap planning with day-to-day execution responsibilities
Experience partnering across the product lifecycle with software engineers, architects, UX professionals, and QA teams
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence decisions without direct authority
Proven success in cross-functional environments that require collaboration, ownership, and customer focus
Ability to quickly learn complex business domains and translate customer and business needs into product outcomes

Experience in financial services, retirement services, brokerage, fintech, or other regulated industries
Knowledge of retirement recordkeeping, defined contribution plans, or 401(k) administration
Experience supporting participant-facing or customer-facing digital experiences
Experience working with mobile applications and responsive web platforms
Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as SAFe, including participation in PI Planning activities
Experience collaborating with third-party vendors and external technology partners
Understanding of customer journey mapping, digital experience design, and usability best practices
Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Rally, and Figma
Demonstrated success owning products through modernization, transformation, or digital enhancement initiatives
