Sr / Staff Product Owner (I4.0 Analyst) - Smart Manufacturing & AI

Join Micron’s SMAI team in Boise, ID (onsite) to help define and deliver end-to-end smart manufacturing solutions that connect across business functions. In this Senior/Staff Product Owner role, you will embed AI and GenAI into early technology development and yield ramp, with the goal of driving measurable improvements in factory performance at Micron’s Boise manufacturing footprint.

What you’ll do

• Support DRAM technology development by deploying existing smart-manufacturing solutions to TD and developing new customized tools and solutions for TD.
• Partner with users to capture and analyze information related to the adoption of Smart Manufacturing apps.
• Assess current solutions to identify gaps, weaknesses, and inefficiencies, including opportunities for AI-enabled enhancements.
• Define business solutions and propose implementation projects using AI and GenAI technologies.
• Lead cross-functional projects that require coordination and resource management across global teams.
• Use metrics and performance data to uncover improvement opportunities, including predictive analytics and intelligent decision support.
• Provide domain and system expertise and collaborate with data scientists to analyze data and uncover opportunities in early technology development and yield ramp challenges using AI/ML models.

What you bring

• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Process Integration Engineering or Process Equipment Engineering department.
• Proven experience leading and managing projects, with strong program and project management capabilities.
• Good understanding and experience in early stage technology development.
• Strong fab process domain knowledge, with experience in yield improvement activities.
• Strong interest and passion for Data Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Generative AI (GenAI), applied to smart manufacturing and yield improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration across departments.
