TD Bank seeks a senior level Product Owner II and Sr. Manager to lead the Analytics and BI pod for the US Contact Center. This onsite role in Mount Laurel, NJ offers a base salary range of USD 115,440 to 186,160 per year and focuses on platform capability performance, value management, and data-driven improvements and investment decisions.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic people leadership by recruiting top talent, setting objectives, coaching staff, evaluating performance and compensation, fostering teamwork, and handling disciplinary matters when necessary.
- Apply deep expertise within a complex domain and related areas to guide decision making and outcomes.
- Steer specialized product development support grounded in extensive product knowledge and proficiency with Agile and Scrum practices.
- Offer advisory services to executives and business leaders, shaping requirements within the scope of own work.
- Align program design and operating standards with the broader enterprise strategy across one or more areas of expertise.
- Anticipate emerging business trends and regulatory or risk considerations to propose large-scale product, technical, or operational improvements.
- Advise on execution strategy and lead development and deployment of functional programs or initiatives across multiple specialties.
- Resolve unique and ambiguous problems with broad organizational impact while managing standards, controls, and operating methods relevant to the field.
- Demonstrate innovative thinking to develop new solutions that address business needs.
- Influence resource allocation and the directional path for part of an enterprise function or business segment.
- Engage stakeholders to drive action, provide expert guidance, and present information within the wider organizational context.
- Collaborate with senior management to ensure solutions meet business requirements on complex projects or programs.
- Partner with senior leadership to support the delivery of a product vision and maintain alignment with that vision.
- Maintain and prioritize a product backlog aligned with the vision, continuously refining user stories to maximize value for customers and end users.
- Coordinate with senior management on the product delivery roadmap, Minimum Marketable Features or MVPs, and release cadence.
- Review performance analytics and champion strategies to enhance the customer experience and product outcomes.
- Participate in scrum or Kanban events, propose ideas to improve value and delivery efficiency, and share insights with leadership as appropriate.
- Proactively engage business process partners to prepare customers for changes and establish Day 2 processes.
- Create a value-focused backlog and iterate continually to ensure well-scoped and prioritized user stories.
- Provide oversight for user story design, development, and validation; accept or reject stories based on defined Done criteria and acceptance criteria.
- Manage delivery initiatives and, when needed, oversee multiple pod backlogs across development teams.
- Identify and raise issues that impede efficient delivery of customer-focused increments; manage defects and prioritize remediation efforts.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise frameworks and methodologies for business management activities.
- Lead in coordinating with corporate and control functions to align with enterprise and regulatory requirements.
- Help the team stay informed about regulatory trends and assess potential impacts on the bank.
- Identify issues, escalate when required, and lead risk management and governance activities for the supported functions.
- Support quarterly business reviews for the product and contribute to risk, governance, and control discussions as needed.
- Maintain compliance with internal and external requirements, including financial controls and asset protection measures.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and provide guidance on complex situations as a subject matter expert.
- Define OKRs with stakeholders across the organization and protect the organization's interests by managing risks and escalation paths for high-risk activities.
- Oversee risk-based identification and monitoring of related risks and regulatory compliance, ensuring key controls are in place.
- Lead remediation efforts to address performance, risk, or governance issues and monitor outcomes.
- Stay current with emerging issues, regulatory changes, and their potential impacts on the business.
- Contribute to strategic priorities within the operational area and influence long-term plans beyond the managed scope.
- Direct the overall team, set targets, and ensure delivery of results while growing team expertise to meet demand.
- Lead a high-performing team, provide ongoing feedback, conduct performance reviews, and support development plans for employees.
- Foster a culture where the team can escalate challenges and celebrate milestones to drive change.
- Recruit to maintain a diverse, qualified workforce aligned with business objectives.
- Act as a brand advocate for the business area and the bank, internally and externally.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree and/or product certificate required.
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- 5-7 years of Product Owner or Agile delivery experience.

Preferred Qualifications
- 5-7 years as a Product Owner or in Agile delivery roles.
- 5+ years leading early assessment of new work to inform prioritization.
- 5+ years identifying product and capability performance measures with business intelligence and analytics partners to ensure effective insight tools for the US contact center.
- 5+ years establishing formal evaluation of product performance, including scorecards and trend analyses.
- Experience presenting the financial narrative for a product group, including costs and benefits, to support strategic investments and measurable improvements.
- CSPO certification and project management experience is preferred.
- SAFe certifications or experience with scaled agile delivery is preferred.
