Intuit is seeking a Senior Staff Product Manager to own IES Shared Experiences and First Time Use, stewarding the homepage, search, navigation, and settings, and partnering with services and education teams to deliver an AI enabled, cohesive surface across the Intuit Enterprise Suite. This onsite role is based in San Diego, CA, with a salary range of USD 205,500 to 278,000 per year and requires eight or more years of product management experience.
Overview
Intuit operates as a global financial technology platform focused on enabling prosperity for people and communities. With about 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, the company continuously pursues innovative ways to broaden opportunity. The Staff Product Manager for IES Shared Experiences & First Time Use will own the surfaces that every Intuit Enterprise Suite customer touches—homepage, search, navigation, and settings—and will also own the First Time Use experience that gets new customers up and running, working in close partnership with services and education teams. The goal is to render these surfaces as a single, intelligent product rather than a collection of static screens. As IES evolves toward an AI native platform, shared experiences and First Time Use become the first touchpoints where customers perceive that shift: a homepage that surfaces what matters, a setup process that learns from each customer, and navigation that adapts rather than remains fixed. Achieving this requires strong systems thinking, a focus on where AI can quietly remove friction, and the ability to rally multiple teams around a shared vision.
Responsibilities
- Modernize the Product Front Door: lead the roadmap for homepage, search, navigation, and settings, transforming them from static interfaces into an intelligent entry point that helps users reach what they need with less effort.
- Redefine First Time Use: own the initial setup and activation experience for new customers, coordinating closely with services and education, and increasingly guided by AI-driven recommendations that accelerate a business-ready configuration.
- Design for a Coherent Journey: ensure the First Time Use experience and ongoing product interactions are consistent, so intelligence encountered during setup informs day-to-day use.
- Apply an AI Native Lens: identify opportunities where AI can personalize and reduce effort across shared surfaces and First Time Use, and build the roadmap and partnerships necessary to implement them responsibly.
- Prioritize Across Horizons: balance near-term usability enhancements with longer-term platform investments, communicating tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
- Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: represent First Time Use and shared experiences together in planning, collaborating with design, engineering, and service partners to avoid treating them as separate workstreams.
Requirements
- 8 to 10 years of Product Management experience, ideally with ownership of a platform-level shared experience (navigation, search, settings) or a First Time Use/activation experience in a B2B or enterprise product.
- Comfort with AI driven product design, with some experience or a strong point of view on how AI/ML can personalize or simplify the user experience, even without a deep technical background.
- Systems thinker capable of designing for consistency across a complex product with multiple surfaces and user types.
- Masterful collaborator with a track record of aligning multiple teams, including service and education partners, around a shared roadmap without top-down mandates.
- Clear communicator able to translate ambiguous, cross functional discussions into actionable plans and documentation.
- Enterprise fluency, with experience in enterprise or mid-market B2B software and an understanding of what makes complex products feel simple.
- High conviction leadership, skilled in leveraging Inside-Out customer insights and Outside-In market shifts to drive long term platform investments.
