Associate Product Manager

Molex is hiring an Associate Product Manager for Datacom (High-Speed Interconnect Products) to help shape and deliver a product portfolio designed for silicon protocols at 112G and 224G speeds. In this onsite role in Lisle, IL, you will own product line decisions while partnering with customers and cross-functional teams to advance the roadmap, market growth, and profitable execution.

This position focuses on translating market signals into clear product requirements, aligning strategy across teams, and driving launches from planning through go-to-market enablement.

Role & responsibilities

• Support development and execution of the high-speed interconnect product strategy, including product roadmap, pricing, and positioning aligned to local customer needs
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities
• Develop marketing collateral to promote new technologies and strengthen industry partner relationships to improve market penetration
• Define product requirements using customer feedback, market demand, and technology advancements
• Increase pipeline growth, drive customer wins, and support timely project release
• Provide leadership, support, and guidance to less experienced team members
• Interface with cross-functional teams including product design engineering, signal integrity, manufacturing integration, program management, sales organization, state-of-the-art test laboratories, high-tech R&D model shop, manufacturing, and senior leadership
• Monitor product performance and market trends, recommending enhancements or portfolio adjustments as needed
• Drive product launches, including go-to-market strategies, sales enablement, and marketing collateral development
• Track the competitive landscape and establish and drive the technology roadmap
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers
• Travel as needed to visit customers, manufacturing sites, and meet with the global team
• Lead development projects to ensure completion on time and within budget
• Create relationships across senior leadership, cross-functional partners, and peers through team building and growth opportunities as part of a One Molex Team approach

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• Previous experience as a Product Manager or similar role, focused on high-speed interconnect products in the data center, enterprise networking, or manufacturing industries
• 1+ years of sales experience OR 1+ years of experience managing a product line
• Eligible to work in the United States without the need for Visa Sponsorship now or in the future
• Ability to travel globally

Location and compensation

• Location: Lisle, IL (onsite)
• Salary: USD 100,000 to 125,000 per year
